55This was the most beautiful property! It was right on the water and absolutely huge. There’s a big pavilion right by the water where we could sit and have the pups calm down after all the running. It was a very quiet spot, particularly fenced. We kept our dogs leashed since they don’t have great recall, but I think a trusted dog would absolutely love exploring all the land. Getting into the water was a bit hard. It rained yesterday and several times this week so it was a little muddy and slippery, but that didn’t stop us! Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks.
