There are outdoor lights and a fan controlled by Alexa under the gazebo. Simply ask Alexa to “turn on patio lights” or “turn on patio fan” or “turn on backyard lights”. Please also ask her to turn them off when you leave. If Alexa is not working for any reason there is a manual white button on the upper left hand post (left of fireplace) that will turn both lights and fan on. You can also ask Alexa to play music or you can also request a local radio station. On really hot days, I will setup the sprinkler for your dog if they enjoy it. Our large backyard is ready to be sniffed! Our yard is fully-fenced in and safe for your dog to have some outdoor zoomies. Plenty of seating for humans. And a playground for kids (or dogs!) to play on. We work from home a few days a week, so someone might be here during your visit. We’ll say hi from the window but will otherwise give you privacy.

What was once a totally vacant lot, is now a cozy green space with trees and small brush, woodchipped pathways and native flowers and plants. Fully enclosed lot with seating areas, tables, rows of raspberries, wild grasses and several raised garden beds (help yourself to herbs and veggies in season). Welcome to our backyard! It's about 6,500 square feet, with a beautiful, six-foot red cedar fence all the way around, with no gaps for even the smallest dogs (except maybe a teacup dog!). There are two major seating spots with chairs and plenty of empty space for your dogs to run around. It's also well shaded, with a gigantic, hundreds-years-old tree right smack in the middle. If you have a good visit, please leave a good review! We are first-time homeowners and Sniffspotters. Please get in touch with any questions or suggestions for improvements! PLEASE DO *NOT* BRING A DOG THAT: - has a particularly loud or booming bark. We live in a quiet neighborhood and do not want to disturb our neighbors. - may chew through outdoor-rated extension cords (there's one for the mosquito trap, as you can see next to the pool). - may chew through (or climb through!) the plastic tubing between the pool and its mechanics (pump and filter). Important notes: - No more than four dogs may be in our yard at any one time, and all dogs must share the same owner. The owner must remain with their dogs at all times. The owner may bring a small number or human guests, but no guest may bring their own dog. - Please look carefully through our photos to know what to expect. Any questions, ask! - It is expected that our yard will be in the same or better condition than when you entered. Please clean up your and your dog's messes. - If you can prevent your dog from peeing next to the pool and its mechanics, please do. We realize this might not be possible, so don't stress if it happens. - There's a three-foot-wide alleyway behind the shed (fence on one side, shed on the other), open on both sides. It's just dried leaves back there. (Note: the bricks in the pictures will be gone before your dog arrives.) For the moment, we're leaving this open, but may block it off depending on feedback from our Sniffspot guests. - The pool is off limits to dogs. Note the pool-wall is five feet high. There will be no ladder when your dog visits. It is IMPERATIVE that you not put a chair next to the pool, to prevent your dog from jumping in. - We have one neighbor (on the driveway side) with a dog. He's not out that much, he's never out without his owner, and he's not loud (I've NEVER heard him since moving here two years ago). It is very likely that this dog will not be out during your visit, but we can't guarantee this. Regardless, there is always a solid six-foot-high fence between. Our neighbors are well aware, and are fully supportive, of our renting via Sniffspot. Concerns we are currently working to address: - We plan on building a small fence around the pool mechanics. - Note that we mow this very big backyard every two weeks. Also, there's ALWAYS more weeding to be done. However, there are no harmful-to-dogs plants that we are aware of.

HUGE, diverse and interesting back yard space in Cherry Hill East. The yard is ALMOST entirely fenced - there's a small area that has a gap in it, however we've never had a dog try to leave through it. Grade changes and interesting places for your pup to explore! Plenty of relaxing seating for you to enjoy, including a rocking glider w/ cupholder! Also the walking path from the entrance gently comes all the way down to the lawn, so it's great for people with mobility challenges. Hope to host you soon!

Sitting on 0.25 Acres, with plenty of room to run and play fetch, this yard is a perfect private dog park for your furry friends. There is plenty of seating for humans and plenty of space for pups. AS OF MAY 4TH 2025 OUR SPOT IS CLOSED INDEFINITELY We appreciate all of our visitors, but the app has become very glitchy, rules aren't being read/followed and the apps GPS is bringing people to our neighbors which has caused significant issues. Feel free to send me a message if you'd like to schedule something in the future and I will see about unblocking the calendar. As of right now, especially because SniffSpot support is not responding to us in a timely fashion, we are making this decision and very sorry to do so. People who are not first time guests or have been here a few times before can still reach out to schedule while we work this out. Does your dog love to run? Love to swim? Love to chill in the shade? We have it all! Enjoy 3 acres of fenced in land to run around, a private lake for you pup to swim in or do some dock diving, and a bamboo forest perfect for getting some shade and feeling at peace. We have an active train that can run nearby twice a day. Most dogs don't mind, but if yours does, be mindful that it can show up (: Two people per dog please! Any additional people should be added under "extras".
