55As the 2nd visitor to this location, I wanted to share why I'm providing 5 stars.
If you're 1 who has pups that prefer to run, explore and chase critters, this is the place. Yes, it's overgrown, however, because the owner is selling their land, and just would like to allow others to enjoy an outdoorsy adventure without much charge to those who come, it's a perfect place for just that. You'll want to use GPS to get here because even the mailbox is overgrown and ya won't see the address down the leg.
I brought a camelback of ice water which the pups needed thruout the visit. But Greg mentions about a hose to attach to an RV spigot, too, if preferred.
The stall provided cool respites for my pups and lotsa sand to cool off whilst rolling around.
Again, this spot is for those who've pups that wanna enjoy the adventure and opportunity to explore.BethAnne x.

FAQ about our Somerville dog parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 99% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Somerville area are 5 stars.
