55A beautiful location and the staff on the property are super helpful and friendly. Our Tammy ran around and did her zoomies while we were there. We were told that we were the second person who booked and came, so that means we are SniffSpot famous! There's also outdoor seating, wine, and food if you want to sit and eat with your pup! Definitely coming back! They are also planting peach trees in the back of the area where you can take your dog. Awesome 😎Scott B.

55Becca’s spot was a defect for a lot lace to let the dog run and play after a long time on the road. The lot was pretty, lots of open space. The gated area for the dog was huge and she loved running through the rows and exploring. If we are ever driving through again I will definitely come back! Anita N.

55This sniff spot is really nice. The convenience of the winery and restaurant in a walking range is nice. Because the space was used for growing grape vines, there are some metal wires that were hard for my dogs to see so do be cautious. Other than that it’s a great space. Brooke L.

55Wonderful experience!! The spot was super easy to find, just follow the signs that say ramp 5. We went pretty early and didn’t encounter anyone. Right before we were about to leave, we were surprised with a elder lady & her loose dog. So do be aware that there can be people that show up since the lake is public (not on the property though). Nonetheless, we loved it and can’t wait to book again!!! Kevin, you are awesome & I am so grateful that you have opened up your property for the experience!!Amy V.

55A must visit for dogs of all temperments! You can pull up right to the water and walk your dog off leash for miles. Perfect training spot and perfect relaxing spot by the lake for those who have slightly reactive dogs or those who just want a nice secluded spot. Could not recommend more! We will definitely be back :)Shreya K.

55The spot was nice and clean. I followed the gps but had to go a bit past where the location was on the map to find the spot. But it was easy to find with the sniffspot sign.
The water was very calm, my babes enjoyed it. I took the first left I could once I entered the property and it took us right to the water. I didnt go hiking because... no. The water was the only reason for our visit. My babes had such a good time they slept on the whole drive back home. One of my pups can not be trusted and I had to keep her on a long lead... tht wasnt fun because she kept getting tangled... I think on purpose... so constantly untangling her was quite annoying.
I would visit this spot again. I love the water myself and it was nice to have the area all to ourselves.
The host was also quick to respond which was nice.Aiyana W.

55We’ve been to quite a few sniff spots now and this might be our favorite. Host is super helpful (I’m terrible at directions) and accommodating. The dogs were so pumped.
Only one thing and important for reactive dogs: I did see a family with an on leash dog. They approached us right where my dogs were swimming. I’m unsure if they were trespassing or if they were allowed to be there, and luckily my dogs are *mostly* friendly. But it was a surprise to us and a little worrisome at first, because my dogs were overstimulated and thought it was play time. Their leash led dog got pretty defensive. So I don’t know if it was just a random encounter, but if your pup is aggressive, I feel it’s worth noting. But we will be back! Kayla M.

55Lots of land & space for our dog to roam around. Its location along the lakeshore is also great for dogs that like to swim. Will definitely recommend & plan to rebook.Roselia C.

FAQ about our Stonewall dog parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 96% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Stonewall area are 5 stars.
