Drive or Walk through the gate and the whole area is yours! There are walking trails in the woods, a pond to find and a river to explore. The open field is wonderful for training and or play. Your dog will love exploring this wonderful property. ***This is the country. The land is wonderful to explore but it is vacant and undeveloped. You will encounter nature, really in the spring and summer. There are ticks, snakes, uneven ground, rabbits, wet spots, etc. Please only book if you are used to the outdoors and being adventurous!*** Update from my guests comments: Wear bug spray when it’s warm, check for ticks after a visit, boots are recommended after rainy days, dogs may get muddy bring towels and look for the new mailbox to identify the dirt lane off the road. Spot has improved!!! They cut down all the growth in the field that sprouted up in the spring and summer and there’s tons of open field area for the pups to run their hearts out. Tons of wooded area to navigate through with pretty manageable terrain in the outer edges. Two ponds you may want to avoid that are murky wetland, but otherwise this spot checks all the boxes for a good time for working breed dogs like mine (GSP, Doberman) to empty the gas tank. This place is dog heaven! It is the perfect spot to let your dog(s) run around and have the space to be a dog! I chose the “extra” private tour guide option and I’m so glad I did! Katie was extremely friendly and generously walked me and my pups around the area to show us the boundaries and the neat little special spots their land has. I immediately felt comfortable and relieved to have found an area where my dogs can safely and freely run around. A fairly large and hard to miss creek borders around the whole property making it seem next to impossible to get lost or to meander into someone else’s land (which were my two biggest concerns). If you are thinking about going to this location do it! You and your pups will not regret it!

Came here on New Year’s Day and We had SO MUCH fun here! Are dog fields safe?

If you are looking for an adventure, but also looking for safety, Sniffspot dog fields are a great option. You can review the details of the listing to make sure it works as your desired activity space, for example, safe dog exercise, dog training, a stress-free adventure with your furry friend or even a puppy event. You can even check the park amenities chart for amenities such as indoor training facilities, agility field, synthetic turf, exercise balls or field parking availability in advance. If inclement weather is an issue or poor field conditions, you can reschedule your visit up to 2 hours in advance.

What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot dog field?

We require that all four-legged friends have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Make sure to check host rules before visiting to ensure, for instance, that you are following allowable sports activities rules and any special events rules.

Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot field at the same time as me?

No. Facility rentals are for private play time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the area during visits, so this is perfect for a private adventure for you and your doggie friends, and perhaps a human friend. Hosts understand that many guests have dogs in training and are nervous owners. So when you book a Sniffspot dog field you have the entire private spot to yourself. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between time slots so you will not run into other guest dogs or a previous person when coming or leaving in the field parking area.
