No neighbours to hassle you while making all the noise you want. Grass may be tall or short when you arrive. Trails cut around the perimeter and through the forest to get to the pond. Guests are able to explore the whole property, but please stay to the forest and field areas. We realize sometimes dogs get excited and will venture out of those areas, so dont sweat it. As long as they are having fun, just call them back and continue on your way. We do suggest bringing some bug spray/mosquito repellent.

We host a beekeeper who has about 40 hives on a well-marked and avoidable section of one trail. The bees are out only from April to October but please avoid the hives anyway. IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD 70 acres of open farmland, woods and a creek. Your dog is about 1/4 km away from all other yards and buildings at all times. You may hear a dog bark in the distance depending on air quality, but it will be faint. You can take an easy hike along the field edge, or let your pet have the full experience of sniffing out coons, opossums, squirrels and many other things in the woods. The woods trail is steep and sloped for a portion of the way, and eventually joins the field edge trail. Neither trail is cleared of snow, but the woods trail mostly doesn't have a deep snow layer. Both trails give you access to the creek. Round trip to the back of the farm and back is 30-40 minutes at a good hike. In the summer, a beautiful rest camp is set up at the back for you to detox and enjoy the silence while your dog is in the water. A hose and/or small pool is provided at the front for your dog's rinse.

IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD Hi there, we are Between The Lakes Family Farm in Canfield (15 minutes south of Binbrook). Our farm is located on 100 acres of beautifully scenic property and we have opened 26 acres of that space for you to explore. Our property is on predominantly flat elevation with trails, multiple fields and roughly 7 acres of forest. While the forest can be dense in spots, it is very walkable and presents a lovely spot to hike through. We have 5 ponds as well as a stream that runs the width of our property and travels through the forest. We have a myriad of wildlife that you may see or encounter during your adventures here. These could include (but are not limited to) great blue herons, muskrats, rabbits, geese, ducks, deer and coyotes. We do have livestock and a guardian dog on the property (they are fully fenced) as well as family pets so please respect their space and ensure your dogs are leashed anytime you are nearing the barn, paddock or barnyard areas.

Please do NOT walk in the back forest. The property is 50 acres, however we wish to keep the sniffspot to the 2 acres around the house as to not disturb the wildlife.
