Walk along the pond and through the trees on groomed trails. There are also yard areas and a picnic table. Beautiful and private acreage with views of a 60-acre non-motorized lake. You are always the only one on the property when you visit! Canicross and Canicross Training welcome! One lap of our outer loop (through the woods) = 1/2 mile. We are set up nicely to practice 5K.

Happy Trails ‘N Tails is wonderful! Our boys loved exploring the trails and pond. In 1 hour we did 2.5 laps around the property…probably could have done more if one of our pups didn’t enjoy the pond SO much. Lol! The instructions for entering / exiting were very easy and Brent was extremely helpful. The humans appreciated the bug spray! Can’t wait to visit again!

My dogs had a wonderful time visiting Happy Trails and Tails! The hosts are accommodating, thorough, and have gone to great lengths to make it a great experience. The spot features countless trails, totally fenced in, and water access (both drinking and swimming water!), hidden toys for the dogs, a washing station, and more! My dogs had so much fun sniffing, running, swimming in the water, and jumping off the dock into the pond. Two of my dogs experienced their first time swimming here 🥹 We preferred a contactless visit because I have a nervous dog, and the hosts were totally accommodating to that, and respected my dog’s preferences. We will definitely be back!

Our pup loved running through the trails here. We would definitely come back if we were local to the area. It was quite buggy, so dress appropriately. The host did supply spray which definitely helped, but I’d recommend long sleeves if coming during muggy/hot conditions.

We had an amazing time visiting, our two dogs were so happy to feel like “wild dogs” running off leash on the trails! We occasionally heard the neighbors dogs, but they were no bother to our reactive dogs because the area was so nicely forested. It was especially special for us as one of our dogs has a terminal illness and we don’t know how much longer she’ll be with us, and it was on her bucket list to be able to run off leash as we don’t have a yard of our own. Brent was so accommodating and kind to us with our situation and made us feel so welcome! 10/10 will be coming back for future visits with our other dog 🩷

Our dogs love the trails! We can not stop recommending this spot enough. It is such a perfect spot for my reactive pups. Just a reminder for visitors to make sure they pick up after their dogs. We encounter a few poops laying around when we visited. It is our responsibility as owners to pick up after our dogs! Not the host responsibility! They have trash bag by the water you could use in case you forget your poop bags at home.

In order to hike the trails, we require that all dogs have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not permit dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules.

Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot hiking trail at the same time as me?

Sniffspot only allows one booking at a time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the spot during visits. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between bookings.
