55Kellys spot was exactly as described! We were a little nervous about it not being fenced in but there is enough space and the property slopes up onto a hill where it meets the road creating a natural barrier and making it feel like it wasn’t even there! Our golden retriever loved being able to run and play ball in such a large open space. Kristin N.

55Great big open field with plenty of safe space to run, chairs, and even poop bags and some toys. Easy access and exit, dogs loved it and could really open it up and run at full speed! We’ll be back!Helen F.

55Nice big field to wander around in. I was using the time to practice recall on my easily distracted dog. Be aware there is a lot of poison ivy in the field. As others have mentioned, the field does border the road but there are so many smells to discover, that my dog never ventured that way. Lisa D.

55We had a fun time in the field at Kelly’s property! We stayed for an hour which felt like the perfect amount of time. It was easy to find and the parking area was well-marked with a small sign facing the field. As others mentioned, the hill leading up to the road (not busy) created a natural barrier and was steeper than expected, thus an effective deterrent for my pup. The field is pretty large so you’ll have decent privacy and distance from the house. It was quiet for our entire visit with no other people or dogs in sight or earshot. Would strongly recommend boots or tall socks for walking through the grass/dirt and bug spray to deter flying pests. I was super impressed by how clean it was - we didn’t stumble upon any poop! Overall, we had a great time and I’m glad we came. If you’re considering it, I would definitely suggest booking. There’s plenty of space for your dog to play and run at full speed.Danielle L.

FAQ about our Wilton dog parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 96% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Wilton area are 5 stars.
