55Very clean and so much fun! Sturdy equipment (held 140lb GSD). I know he’s not all the way on it but I just didn’t get a pic when he was! Also a beautiful view to sit and relax. We’ll definitely be back! Sabre M.

55Dex had an awesome time here! We did all of his training and it was amazing being able to challenge him more without having any anxiety about him escaping or running into another anxious dog. Easy to access, totally perfect spot for some low key socialization for Dex too. It’s not often he gets to hear dogs and horses while safely exploring or doing place work. It is also roomy enough that it feels nothing like the yards he is used to — so an added challenge to relax in so much space. He wasn’t able to fully relax and play yet, probably because of the other dogs he was hearing, but I’m confident he will next time and that’s exactly the type of safe exposure I’m always looking for to train him. He’s from Ridgeway, CO, and it kind of felt like a mini-trip back home. So grateful for this spot! Will totally be back. Shanta L.

55We've been coming to Sunny Day Acres for almost 2 years now. We love it!! It's a drive for us, but the only SniffSpot where our two GSDs can truly be their happy selves--sprinting after balls, jumping in the pool, and tipping over the water bowls (then sprawling in the mud). ❤Abby V.

55Great place to have your furry friend let off excess energy. It's not too difficult to find, provided you follow the directions they provide. It's evident what this place is as soon as you enter their gates (dog academy more like), the dog park is separate from the obstacle course, which we will try next time we book. My 3 dogs loved every minute they were there, they ran up and down with the balls and thrower this is provided for each visitor. This by far beats any public dog park there is. We will be back.Joe S.

55This is my favorite Sniffspot to visit! The facility is fantastic and Pepper has an incredible time running around, playing, and then decompressing. It’s awesome!! There’s so much to explore. I absolutely adore the farm animals on the property. The horse is my favorite especially. Jess L.

55Able to let them off leash in two fenced areas before putting the leashes back on and taking a nice hike. Getting some energy out first makes the leashed hike a little easier.Stephanie K.

55The hiking trails were really cool. My dog loved it. She ran around, sniffing, and chasing a few birds. The dog park area was big and pretty clean. My dog didn’t play much there, but that’s often how she is. She has more fun in the wilderness areas. Sarah M.

55This place was great. We stayed in Fido Field and my two big girls (Great Dane and German Shepherd) got to run and trot and sniff as much as they wanted. They've never had the opportunity to run full out like that, so it was really wonderful to see. The whole area is serene. We are going back as often as we can!Lauren Z.

55Great hiking trails and beautiful space. The trails can get pretty steep- I’d recommend hiking shoes if you’ve got them. Be aware this is also a training facility, so there may be other dogs in the fenced off agility training area when you arrive, but the enclosed space they provide for Sniffspot is perfect, and the hiking trails are private- just keep your pup on a long lead bc of wildlife. If you have a leash reactive dog then you know how impossible it is to hike in LA with the crowds, so this is a great option to have all to yourself. Def worth itLaura G.

FAQ about our Acton dog parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 97% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Acton area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 317 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 49 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
