Why rent a private dog park in Stockton, California?
55Nicely gated yard, appreciated the taller wooden fence that separates the front from the backyard. Had a great time with the pups in the pool. Doggy station was perfect to wash down the pups before heading home and they of course enjoyed the treats. Would definitely come back before summer ends to have some fun in the sun.Jennifer K.

55Great spot for your doggos! Huge space for them to run around and sniff. There were also several toys for them to enjoy and a little pool for them to cool down. There’s also a nice area for you to sit and watch your doggo run around. They provided us and our dogs with water, it was great! Highly recommend. Guillermo P.

55Such a wonderful place. Lots of things for the dogs to enjoy. They even had a bucket full of toys and had a small pool that my dogs definitely enjoyed. It was nice seeing the alpacas and goats near by. Fence was also very secure. Overall I and all my dogs had a blast here. britney r.

55I have a big backyard but to add variety i use sniffspot. My 8 month old loved this area. She loves rolling in grass. She gets the zoomies and this provides an area that is very open and very little chance ( if any) of running into anything. The chickens, horses, and goats in the distance were intriguing too. On a hot summer day i would book in the morning. I am grateful for this spot. I regret the only pic i have is Tilly snoring in the car after playing here.Kristin R.

55We had a great experince for our first sniff spot! My three dogs loved the space. I liked how the dog area was separated from the neighbors’ fences, however their dogs were visible. At first I became worried it would trigger my dogs but it was actually good to expose them to other dogs and animals and took advantage for some training. One of my dogs is a jumper and she could’ve easily jumped the fence but we were able to manage. We’ll be back soon! Cecilia O.

55This spot is just like having your own private dog park. Just as a heads up you will be able to see the neighbors' dogs and on one side they did run along the fence with my dog. Stacy H.

55Beautiful and peaceful place for my boxer to run stress free and get her zoomies out. We have visited enough times now that she starts to whine with excitement when we turn on the road to get there! This is a great spot for her blind sidekick as well, flat wide open space with nothing to run into. Thank you so much for sharing your amazing space, our dogs with special needs appreciate it and so do their people! Christina C.

55The location was very easy to find and everyrhing waa clean and well kept. Our pups really enjoyed having their own space and we also enjoyed the calmness of the property. I would recommend you bring water and chairs. A bench is there but there wasn’t shade so we brought our chair to sit in the shade. Karolina V.

FAQ about our Stockton dog parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 96% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Stockton area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 170 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 15 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
