It’s spring already so we’re back to treating the yard with all natural, pesticide-free, pet and human safe WONDERCIDE flea/tick/mosquito protection! We will continue to apply this into the Fall. Additionally, thanks to some great guest feedback, we just added 2 new chairs for seating along the left side of the fence (in the shade). Feel free to move any of the 3 chairs wherever you’d like! Newly fenced yard (done in October 2020) - safe and secure! ALL the dogs say it’s the BEST, and they don’t want to leave. Legitimately. Our girl Luna won’t come in sometimes, and daycare and boarding dogs don’t like leaving. It’s pretty amazing. We are so happy to be able to offer and share our backyard with other dogs!!

Dog Run Park at Carlyle

Unless otherwise posted, dog parks and areas are open from sunrise to sunset. All dogs must be under their handlers' control. Only three dogs per handler are allowed. Dogs must be on leash when entering and exiting the park. Each handler must have a leash in hand at all other times. No dogs in heat are allowed. Only dogs four months and older are allowed. Dogs must be legally licensed, vaccinated, and wearing both current tags. Handlers must keep their dogs in view at all times. Any bite occurring to a person or dog must be immediately reported to Alexandria Animal Control. Persons and dogs involved must wait for an officer to respond, except when immediate medical care is needed. Unleashed dogs must remain within the boundaries of the dog exercise area as defined by bollards. Handlers must immediately pick up all feces and dispose of them in trash receptacles. Aggressive dogs (defined as dogs posing a threat to human beings or other dogs) are not allowed at any time. Handlers are legally responsible for their dogs and any injury or damage to facilities caused by them. In addition to the above rules, the following applies at Fenced Dog Parks: Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult when inside the fenced dog area. Food is not allowed inside the fenced dog area. Non-alcoholic beverages are allowed.

All dogs must have a single day pass, monthly or annual membership to be allowed on the premises All dogs must be at least four months of age. All dogs must be current on vaccinations. Please upload vaccination records online via the Membership Portal prior to arrival. We require current Rabies and Distemper (DHPP, DHLPP, DA2PP) vaccinations. In our Alexandria location we also require the Bordetella vaccine. Dogs with contagious health conditions are not permitted in the park. All dogs must be flea and tick free. All dogs over a year old must be spayed or neutered. No exceptions. No dogs in heat. All dogs must be off-leash at all times in the park. Two dogs maximum per person. Only flat-buckle collars or harnesses should be worn by dogs. Prong, pinch, choke, chain, and electric collars are not allowed in the park. Dogs are only allowed in with the primary and secondary owners listed on your profile. We will check IDs at the door. Absolutely no dog services allowed to bring your pup in: dog walkers, dog trainers, dog sitters, etc. Only legal owners can bring their dogs in. If you are looking to bring in a foster dog, please email info@barksocial.com to see if your rescue is a Bark Social partner. If not, you will not be allowed to bring in your foster dog until your foster is a registered partner. By entering the yard, you permit Bark Social staff (Bark Rangers) to handle your dog and break up any fights that may ensue
