We know that not all dogs like the public dog parks. We also, do not think they are safe due to irresponsible owners. We have 3 acres fully fenced for your dogs to roam, sniff and get that much needed exercise! We have some nice shaded areas with a kiddie pool available during the summer. Covered area with chairs and a shaded area with a picnic table for pawrents. Toys and bags available for use as needed! Water is available so please keep your pet hydrated!

Do you have a reactive dog who is a little too unhinged for the dog parks? We have a beautiful fenced-in backyard for you and your dogs to enjoy! Besides the essentials, we offer a puppy splash pad, kiddie pool, towels, kibble, and human refreshments upon request. We have two pups of our own, too. They will be secured inside during your visit. Note: they are learning to be desensitized to outside noises, but there may be some barking as they adjust to hosting.

We live on 5.5 wonderful, wooded acres that used to be a working farm with three pastures. The sniff spot is located between the house and the barn in old pasture one. It is fully fenced and wooded, providing shade in summer and exploring options for pups. We also have a tractor trail running past the barn into pastures 2 and 3. You are welcome to walk your dog on the trail. Please note these areas are only partially fenced. We have a barn cat, chickens, and an old hound dog, so please keep your dog under control either with a traditional leash or an e-collar when not in the Sniffspot. Our backyard is fenced for our critters and separate, though visible, from the Sniffspot. Please also note that this is a very rural property. While we work hard to maintain it, we do have bugs, ants, mosquitos, poison ivy (leaves of three let them be), branches that break, squirrels, deer, hawks, etc. Closed-toed shoes are recommended, as is mosquito repellent. We do spray for poison ivy when we find it. We provide chairs, water and sticks for the pups, and a trash can for waste. There is a John Deere windmill at the entrance to our lane. To access the Sniffspot, drive past the house and the quilt shop until you see the fire pit. You can park by the fire pit or the Sniffspot gate. We hope you enjoy your playtime! Welcome to our 1.25-acre fully fenced yard. No frills. This yard is a wonderful place for dogs to play. Enjoy the swing while your pups run and play. Dog bowls up by the garage doors. Newly-planted sod, so please keep your pups from diggin'! There is a wooden rack in between the garage doors which holds the Chuck-it. PLEASE PUT IT BACK ON THE RACK. There are security cameras monitoring the driveway and gate into the property for your protection. Resident dogs cannot be seen from the yard, but will most likely bark when you pull up. Poop bags & balls provided. There is a trash can up by the garage where you can throw the poop bags. We love it here, and we hope you do too. Hi there! Welcome to my backyard. I hope you and your pups enjoy their time here. My yard is fairly rustic. There will be some seating and also poop bags and a trashcan will be available. I don’t have any toys right now, but I may add some in the future. Please be mindful of any kudzu vines or exposed tree roots. Depending on when you visit, please be mindful that there might be a few muddy spots so wear appropriate shoes. It’s very shady with all the trees.  Please no smoking, alcohol or glass bottles.
