Experience the adventure of the forest and the joy of the lake on a quiet private road in the heart of the Manistee National Forest. With 3 acres of forest to run, a lake with dock to swim, open area to play and plenty of seating to relax or have a snack, this space offers plenty to entertain both canines and their people for hours. There's a picnic table to sit and have a snack or a fire pit with log seating for relaxing (no fires please, we are in a National Forest). Park anywhere along either of the two long wooded driveways. Please no driving or parking between the house and the barn. The property is not fenced however the property is bordered by a lake on one side, blank forest land on one side and quiet neighbors on the other 2 sides who are rarely seen from our property. We also have an outdoor dog wash station, groomed trails and poop bag dispensers with a garbage can coming soon! Note: The condition of the lake varies by season and can get quite mucky at times. We recommend bringing a towel or two. We have a dog wash station coming soon!

1/25/25 We are open! Trail Conditions Report: The trails are groomed. We have about 15 inches of fresh snow. It looks like a Winter Wonderland! Everything is ready for you and your pooch! Come blaze a trail through the snow! One caution,,,dogs could climb up a snow bank and get over the fence if they wanted to. FOR THE MONTH OF January: We are offering our "Get Your Glow On" extra for FREE. Book between 5:30pm and 8pm and we will supply you with headlamps (for you), and light-up collars for your pooches. Find a ball in the woods by looking for the puck light. Walk along the pond and through the trees on groomed trails. There are also yard areas and a picnic table. Beautiful and private acreage with views of a 60-acre non-motorized lake. You are always the only one on the property when you visit! Canicross and Canicross Training welcome! One lap of our outer loop (through the woods) = 1/2 mile. We are set up nicely to practice 5K.

Approximately 50 acres of woods has one main trail and optional side trails. Trails have clear boundary lines so please do not cross into neighboring property.

Big open area has 2 open ponds so dogs are able to jump into water. Has optional pavilion, BBQ grill, and fire pits with bundles of wood.

We have everything to make this experience one for the books and for a dog to have their best time! We have a private entrance through a gate to enter the yard! (Your not allowed inside the house) You can lay in the hammock or sit in the sun on a chair while your dog runs and plays! You can work on confidence building with our little tikes climbers, trampoline or teeter totter (all with grippies on it for traction!). Will your dog bolt through a fence? We have long lines! Dog gets to hot? We have 3 kiddie pools! Also a big bucket for drinking water! Dog takes a big poop? We got scoopers and a bucket (clean up after your dog) Dog gets dirty? We have a small bathing station (holds up to 90lbs) with flea shampoo, brushes, and nail clippers (the water is hose water)!! Get hungry? Eat a crabapple (no litetally) we have 3 trees! Forgot a ball? We have plenty! Does your dog like to run through tall grass? We have a spot for that as well! Does your dog want to take home his ball from his trip? DO ITT! *we are NOT liable if your dog gets hurt. We do NOT have a public bathroom (no, seriously you can't come inside), clean up after your dog*

Minutes from the highway is our quiet, private backyard. Our gazebo is available for use and is fully screened in. Dogs are allowed inside and on the furniture. Lots of areas to play and let out some zoomies! We look forward to sharing our space with you.

We are a small hobby farm that is on a private lake. We have fencing around the perimeter of the property. We have some woods as well as a few open areas. All our animals are fenced in. Nice spot on a dead end road with good space between neighbors.
