To decrease traffic we have increased our pricing because the grass is struggling with wear/tear. If you have a history of using our yard we want your dog to still get to come play! So please send a message & we will send you a discount code. We just need to start planning for planting grass etc. We LOVE sharing our space with multiple dogs from the community however, it is hard on the grass. For this reason, we have limited our evening and some weekend availability to Members Only to decrease the wear and tear on the yard. With the fluctuation in weather please be aware: If outdoor parks are wet and muddy ~ areas of our yard will be also. We cannot control the effects of rain. WATER: Due to freezing temperatures all water features have been removed for the season. Clean water bowls will be provided, but please bring your own water for the time being. Thank you for understanding. Please always use the provided carabiner to lock the gate as pictured after you and your dog(s) enter. We have installed multiple methods of LIGHTING for evening reservations. Easy instructions for use will be sent when you make the reservation. We do have a SHADE/RAIN SHELTER! :) PARKING: One FREE private parking space located at the entrance from the alley at the back of the lot. Since some guests were having a tough time with the parking space, we did WIDEN the entrance. We park 2 Honda CRV's back there daily without issue. Fully fenced 6 foot secure and private green space. Large open lot with seating and plenty of room to play fetch or just relax off leash. Easy street parking, no permit required. Any Extras will be located in the storage bin on the east wall of the lot. We have evening hours 6:30p to 9:30p for Members Only, 7 days per week.

Notice: We are closing the spot on May 23rd for maintenance. Sorry for the inconvenience. Grass and rain: Please keep in mind that during moderate to heavy rains the area without mulch can get muddy. Beginning May of 2024, we will post pictures daily to our Instagram account showing the condition of the spot. As you can imagine, due to the wear and tear the spot gets, it’s difficult to keep the grass alive. However, we do our best to reseed during the spring. BarkPark sits right across the street from The Salvation Army Freedom Center. This spot is fully fenced (chain link and wood) with the side facing the sidewalk being 5ft and the rest of the fence being 6ft. There is a dual-gate entrance to the spot for a safe entry and exit. Street parking is available. There is plenty of seating at this spot with shade throughout the day. There's a rain barrel filled with water for dogs to hydrate and cool down. We have water bowls available. GIANT sandbox that's great for digging and playing; no digging elsewhere please. On hot days, we do our best to keep the sand wet. Trash can onsite. We have poop bags available in two different areas for easy access. Half of this spot is covered with grass and the other half with playground mulch. This spot is big enough to get a good fetch session in or to just let the zoomies out. We also recently added agility equipment. We hope you and your four-legged friend/s have an exceptional time during your visit and choose to come back. Lost toys and items: Due to the amount of visits we get we aren’t able to track which items belong to which guest. If you’ve lost a dog toy or other item, please reach out and we’ll do our best to retrieve it and hold it for you. If you don’t reach out, we’ll hold onto it for a week and then add it to the Lost and Found Toy Box. Water: The dog drinking water gets changed 1-2 times per week, depending on the temperature/usage. During the winter months we empty the water barrel. If your dog/s require water during the winter months, we ask that you please bring your own. Food: You’re welcomed to bring food but we ask that you please clean up as a courtesy to other guests. Future additions: We hope to add more amenities over time. Our plans are to add more sand to the sandbox in late April or early May of 2024. We’re also hoping to have on-site parking around mid summer of 2024. If you have any suggestions for amenities, we’d love to hear your feedback.

Our yard is a longer more narrow yard which allows the dogs a little more distance for their runs. There is landscape bordering the fence and a garden in the front of the yard next to a yoga studio. There are areas to explore and areas for both dog and owner to relax, and a secure dog run that can be used for training. There is some agility equipment, a small plastic pool, as well as a sandbox and a deck with a roof in the dog run to help keep the dogs cool on a hot day. Woodland Dog Park

1. By entering this park you acknowledge that you have read and agree to all the below stated rules and that you use the park at your own risk. 2. Park hours are Sunrise to Sunset 3. There are two separate sections of the Dog Park. One section is for small dogs, approximately 35 pounds or less, and one section for larger dogs over 35 pounds. 4. Every dog MUST display current dog tags AND have current vaccinations. Animal Control and/or Parks Department personnel will routinely check these tags. 5. Persons may only bring two dogs to the park at a time. 6. Dog owners must be inside the park with their dogs at all times. 7. No children under the age of 13 are allowed in the dog park unless accompanied by an adult. 8. All dogs must remain on their leash until inside the dog park gates. 9. Aggressive dogs are not permitted on the premises. A dog must be removed at the first sign of aggression to other dogs or to people. 10. Off leash dogs must be under the voice command of their owner. If the dog does not respond to voice commands, it must remain on a leash, even inside the park. Dog owners must keep the dog's leash with them at all times. 11. Choke, spike, prong (pinch) collars are strictly prohibited. 12. No food, dog or human, is permitted in the park. Training treats are allowed. No smoking, No alcohol, and No drugs are allowed. 13. No dog toys are allowed in the park. 14. Owners must clean up dog feces. Seal the waste in plastic bags provided and place in designated receptacles. 15. Owners must wear shoes at all times. No one in the park may be barefoot. 16. DO NOT bring your dog if it has any contagious disease. 17. Owners are responsible for any damage or injury caused by their dog. 18. Good Dogs (and Humans) Should: Enjoy the park with up to three (3) dogs per person in the off-leash area. Keep your dog(s) current on distemper, parvovirus, and rabies vaccinations. Dogs should also receive year-round heartworm prevention treatment and flea prevention treatment. Do clean up after your dog(s). Help by picking up orphan poops to keep the park clean and disease-free. Do keep dogs on a leash while entering and exiting the dog park. Enter with caution if other dogs are already present within the park. Do play with a frisbee, balls, and retrieval toys, but be prepared to share with other park visitors. Keep dogs in view and under control at all times. Dogs must be under voice control at all times. Do Not Allow your dog(s) to stand at or near the gate as people are trying to enter. Enter if another dog is at the gate unattended. Leave your dog(s) unattended. Allow your dog(s) to dig in the park; owners must fill any holes caused by their dog(s). Use the off-leash area for conducting professional training classes without approval. Climb on or over the fence. Use bicycles, skateboards, roller skates or blades, or any motorized devices except wheelchairs in the park. Use devices that use an explosive force to propel a retrievable object. Allow your children to play on or with the dog agility equipment. Not Allowed In The Park Children under the age of 16 unless accompanied by an adult. Children tend to scream and run when excited, which can trigger a dog’s prey drive or instinct to chase. Wiggly Field & South Paw Dog Parks

The dog parks are self-supervised. Use at your own risk. Dogs must wear current license tags and be up-to-date on shots. Dogs must be on a leash when entering and exiting the dog parks. Dog handlers must be sixteen (16) years or older, in the park within view of their dogs and carry a leash at all times. No more than three (3) dogs per person are allowed on any one visit. Handlers are responsible and liable for the behavior of their dogs at all times, including injuries caused by their dog(s). No dogs known to be aggressive may enter the area and must be removed at the first sign of aggression. If an altercation or emergency occurs, the police should be called immediately. For emergencies, dial 911, for non-emergencies call 630.293.2222. South Paw Dog Park is only for dogs weighing less than thirty (30) pounds. Small dogs are allowed in Wiggly Field Dog Park at their own risk. Female dogs in heat are not allowed in the dog parks. Spayed/neutered dogs are recommended. For safety reasons, children under sixteen (16) years of age must be under the direct supervision of an adult and are expected to behave in an appropriate manner. No running, no chasing dogs, no climbing on the dog agility equipment, and no petting of other dogs unless permission is requested from the handler first. Be polite: Pick up dog feces and dispose of them in waste receptacles. Failure to pick up after your dog could result in a $75 fine. Cover any holes your dog digs.
