#3 Fun field for a furry frenzy 3- Field of Dreams in Fletcher

1/27 As the ground thaws this site will have some muddy spots. Have you ever wanted to run your dog on three football sized flat fields? This is your chance. Located behind UPM Raflatac in the cane creek industrial park this huge spot is the third one we have built. It’s perfect for all ages of dogs and their humans because of the terrain! If you are up for an adventure, we have cut in a small trail to access Cane Creek. It is part of the same property but is NOT fenced in any way. If your pup enjoys off or on leash hikes, then feel free. The trail is outside the fenceing look for the silver gate across from the Gazbo. It is an out and back path with two small hills about a 3-5min walk in the woods. A picnic table, gazebo with swing, and hammock are located here for lots of seating and shelter. Some toys are provided. I think a Remote Control car or a drone, a mountain bike might be really fun to bring or even a Remote Control plane. This spot is actually part of the old Fletcher airport. All I want in life is to help people to have balanced dogs in their lives! Enjoy!

Click the YouTube link to see a video tour of the property as it was operating prior to the hurricane. Most everything still looks the same... We've removed a couple of tiny houses but otherwise it is as as depicted in the video. With slight changes based on season. We have 9.5 acres of pristine mountain glory We have a large unfenced Field, Shallow Creek with some small waterfalls, a spring that feeds a tiny pond, a large cleared Homesite that's away from the road moderate to difficult trails and beautiful views. The trails are moderate until you come to the areas that we had landslides, at which point, you can turn around or enjoy the difficulty it presents. Sometimes I or other guests may be on property. If you don't want any other dogs present while you're here, please confirm by text ahead of your reservation time. Thanks so much! We look forward to sharing our sweet space with you. We do not have any trash service. Please do not leave any trash of any version on property including plastic wrapped poop... you'd think that would go without saying...but experience shows it must be said.🙄 All of your activities while on property are at your own risk. MORRIS BROADBAND Dog Park Rules 1. Dogs must be properly licensed, inoculated & Healthy. 2. Dogs must wear collar & ID tag at all times in Dog Park. 3. Owners are legally responsible for their Dogs & any injuries caused by them at the Dog Park. 4. Owners must clean up after their Dogs immediately. 5. Dogs showing aggressive behavior towards other dogs or people must be removed from the Dog Park. Animals that exhibit a history of aggressive behavior will not be allowed to return to the Dog Park. 6. Puppies using the Dog Park must be at least 6 months old. 7. Owners shall not leave dogs unattended or out of sight. 8. Dogs in \"heat\" will not be allowed to enter the Dog Park. 9. Owners must carry leash at all times; and dogs must be leashed entering and exiting the Dog Park. 10. Children under the age of 13 yrs are not permitted inside the Dog Park area. 11. Limit of 2 dogs per handler allowed at the Dog Park. 12. Violators of Dog Park rules are subject to removal & suspension from use of the Dog Park. 13. Bring a water bottle & bowl for your Dog to drink from. 14. No smoking is allowed in the Dog Park area at any time. 15. Report any bites to the Henderson County Animal Services at 687-4912. In case of emergency call 9-1-1. Report any problems or concerns to the Fletcher Parks & Recreation Department at 687-0751, extension 140.

Just like last time, me and the pups really enjoyed visiting this place. I think a Good Samaritan went around and picked up all the dog poop, but then realized they didn’t have a big enough bag to take it because it was sitting there by the gate as soon as I walked in. So thank you to whoever that was. I had a large enough bag so i took it with me when I went. I do keep forgetting to bring water .. the only downside to this place is that but as long as you remember to bring water for your puppers, you’re set! We will definitely be coming again! This will probably turn into a regular spot for us because it’s so close to home.

Well maintained, huge field with dog & people toys! My pups were soo happy and I was very content to lay in the hammock. Grass was short, fence was solid, and poop was picked up. This would be a great spot to rent for a dog birthday party or just chill and play for a couple hours.

So well maintained and lots of useful amenities for visitors, such as ample shade & seating, toys, bug spray, even a badminton net! My pups very much appreciated the short jaunt to the creek (outside of the sniff spot) as it was a muggy evening. This spot was top notch!

Amazing spot! Can't recommend it highly enough. Perfect size space, especially for a group of dogs or a big pup and their human friends. Huge space to run but the entire space is visible at all times so you can see where your dogs are. No dogs seen or heard and only saw one truck drive by. Lots of fun toys to play with (for people and dogs!) and very clean.

Truly grateful. This is the first time I have taken my reactive dog somewhere that I wasn’t anxious or worried about an interaction with another dog or animal. This is the first time I got to watch him run with no stress or overstimulation. He got to be a dog. He got to explore like there were no limits. It’s fully fenced in but the space is so large it feels endless. We will definitely be back! A few extra things: There was a chance a wild animal could have been in the field but it’s such a large space that I don’t think my dog would be able to catch it. Bring water with you for the bowl. Take note of the sniff spot sign below the street sign and just when you think you’re lost there will be a big tall chain link fence with green numbers on it. Behind a long concrete building lies a beautifully maintained field with a gazebo, picnic table, badminton net, and plenty of balls and toys for your pup. Bring extra poop bags because you will need to clean up behind your pet and dispose of it yourself!

Great spot with few distractions or risks for your pups, and a great setup for their humans. Lots of room for multiple dogs to run and spread out. Recommend definitely locking the main gate, especially if you are female or feel vulnerable. Every blue moon, someone working in the area pops up and might give you pause as to how remote it is. Great setup in all regards, just use the safeguards already in place.

We loved our visit here today! It was buggy but well worth the natural world of the outdoors to have our two goldens living their best life. After an unexpected dog attack from Off leash dogs, one of our dogs has anxiety when he sees dogs not well trained. Letting him have an hour to be carefree and happy, fetching non stop and swimming in the water was worth the world. Thank you!

Nice private space for my dog to roam and play. There was about 10 minutes where there were quite a few gunshots in the near distance that slightly spooked my dog (some repeating at a regular interval and others variable). Fortunately, it did not continue.
