This is a great spot for exercising your dog, especially if they are high energy and need lots of space to run, chase balls, etc. Or if they are reactive with other dogs. The spot is fully fenced, and plenty secure for our large dog. The ground surface in the spot is what I would call "pasture quality" turf. It's not lush and green (especially this time of year in dormancy), but it's still soft enough that our active dog can run and jump on it without causing any problems for his paws (and it's better quality than I've found in most other large spots in the Valley area). One thing to be cognizant of is that there is not a lot of inherent shade at this spot. There is a large umbrella provides that would give a bit of shade in one area of the spot. We try to go when the temps are cooler, but on any really warm, sunny day, it's something you should plan for when using this spot (then again, that pretty much holds true for almost every spot down in the Valley...). If we were located closer to this spot, we'd definitely be "regulars". But we do still try to get in a exercise visit here for our dog any time we're down in the area. Our dog always leaves happy and tired when we finish our visit to this spot.

It’s the perfect place to take your dog to burn off some energy! I took my 2 year old Great Dane and he had a blast! He is currently laying on the kitchen floor resting! It was fully fenced in and with the instructions from the host it was very easy to find. Will definitely be coming back!

This was a great place! My two dogs loved running around on the grass, chasing the ball. They had lots of room to run and a place to get water which was awesome. My girl got so tired and she didn’t want to leave when it was time to go! There is the neighbors dog next door for anyone who has reactive dogs. Beautiful field!!! Fully fenced and we could let our highly reactive chihuahua pug run around! It was a nice visit we didn’t realize we had run out of time! We will be regular visitors! There is another sniff spot on property, but absolutely no issues - it was separated far enough for my chug to even notice. I appreciate the fact that she gave us a heads up that there would be someone at the other field & she provided many details and instructions to ensure we know what we are doing! This was amazing! The dogs loved running around and exploring. The grass was beautifully green, water was easily accessible. They both loved flopping in the kiddy pool to cool off. It was very quiet and clean. The neighbors dogs did run by their own fence line but it is covered with shade cloth and even my reactive dog didn’t mind. An extra plus was having the security of a lock on the outside gate so I didn’t have to worry about others just coming in. Will definitely come back!

Are dog fields safe?

If you are looking for an adventure, but also looking for safety, Sniffspot dog fields are a great option. While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, distracted dog owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private space for just you and doggy friends you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). Especially for training, privacy is ideal. Contrary to public dog parks, all Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog for off leash exercise or outdoor training. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars, while public dog parks often do not even have verified reviews. If your dog has poor recall, you can visit one of our secure fields. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our dog fields where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can review the details of the listing to make sure it works as your desired activity space, for example, safe dog exercise, dog training, a stress-free adventure with your furry friend or even a puppy event. You can even check the park amenities chart for amenities such as indoor training facilities, agility field, synthetic turf, exercise balls or field parking availability in advance. If inclement weather is an issue or poor field conditions, you can reschedule your visit up to 2 hours in advance.

What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot dog field?

We require that all four-legged friends have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Make sure to check host rules before visiting to ensure, for instance, that you are following allowable sports activities rules and any special events rules.

Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot field at the same time as me?

No. Facility rentals are for private play time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the area during visits, so this is perfect for a private adventure for you and your doggie friends, and perhaps a human friend. Hosts understand that many guests have dogs in training and are nervous owners. So when you book a Sniffspot dog field you have the entire private spot to yourself. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between time slots so you will not run into other guest dogs or a previous person when coming or leaving in the field parking area. Some hosts may have multiple fields, but there is always a buffer between fields.
