Great place- a little hard to find - no signage but awesome spot to stop on a road trip to get the dogs out. Fully fenced - dogs loved it. Stopping again on our way home.

A nice travel break for my dogs. I plugged in the wrong adddress, so it was a bit out of my way, but that's my fault. it's private and fenced. Water available. Dogs enjoyed. Grasses were long and kept me limited to small areas. I should have written long pants. Appreciate flexibility.

Fully fenced acreage in beautiful Cataldo is just what we needed today. Easy to find and fresh water put out for us, which was kind. Mostly grassy with a couple of shady areas. Excellent space for off-leash training or just having some fun.

This was a wonderful spot for our dogs to get some off leash time during a long road trip. The host is very friendly and communicative. The spot itself had a lot of interesting but safe things for the dogs, and is fully fenced. About 1/2 the area was cut short, the rest was natural vegetation that our pups (Cocker Spaniels) had no problems navigating.

A wonderful rural fenced dog park with lots of natural environment to sniff and play. We loved the trees and the meadow. It’s like taking a walk in a forest. Don’t expect trash cans, benches, picnic tables, or dog toys; it’s a forest.

Our host left water out for our dogs and had a lovely fenced property for our dogs to run in. The dogs had a great time, and the sheep the field over were very cute and curious.

Beautiful property with wooded and grassy areas and some rock outcroppings. Very clean and quiet. My German Shepherd got her sniffs all in and we really enjoyed it.

The property was awesome! I think the addition of signage or land markers would be great. Maybe it was just me but I couldn’t really tell where I was supposed to be/stay. Also! We brought home our first tick of the season (already!!) so watch out for that! 😅

Lots of room to roam! Although not fully fenced, the fencing does at least block off access to the road - which is ideal. Great views and area for resting with hanging swings and chairs

Really enjoyed the spot. Lots of space. If your dogs have any sort of recall they will love running around. I kept mine on long lines and they still had a good time investigating the new smells. Some signs would be useful

It was such a nice, secure area to let my dogs run and play!! I felt like we were at a B&B - there was a cute welcome sign, treats for the dogs, toys available as well as water dishes out & plenty of poop bags all around on fence posts. The gazebo at the entry was so nice, too! We really enjoyed our time and will be back, for sure! Thank you, Kim!

Are dog parks good for dogs?

It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks.
