My wife and I have a nice semi-forested fully fenced backyard in Minnetonka. Our neighborhood is very dog friendly. We built this yard specifically for fence jumpers and dogs that need and deserve a quiet and private space to play. Note that the creek is not directly accessible from the Sniffspot. Spring 2024 the yard is very tender with grass trying to recover from last year's drought, if you remember, it helps to throw "fetch" in lots of different directions to spread out the "wear and tear." Added FYI: Same day bookings will probably have the bedtime and morning 💩 from my pups since I routinely only pick up after work during warm months. If you book 24+ hours in advance I can squeeze in an extra poo pickup before work. *WINTER I pick up weekly, weather-permitting, so might not be a great spot for pups who eat poopsicles--you know who you are!

We have a resident cat who will occasionally snooze in the window sill. ⚠️ the neighbor dog has recently become an escape artist and will wander over from across the street to sniff the green space next to our yard. The yard is beautiful and has lots of fun elements, like a hill, trees, and toys! The chickens are off to the side. My dog mostly ignored them. The yard is awesome for playing fetch and running. The owner was so considerate. Matt sent me a note beforehand saying that the yard was a bit muddy, so he laid out mulch for us. My dog is reactive, and Matt even took his dog on a walk while I was there so they never saw each other. I’m so grateful! I would 100% recommend this yard! As a side note, the neighbor to the left side does have a confederate flag hanging. The neighbor came out to garden and ignored us, but just wanted anyone who books the yard to be aware if they have any safety concerns with that.

we loved this spot! the privacy fence was really nice at keeping any visual triggers away, however there was a dog in the distance who barked the whole time we were there. the next door neighbors dog also got let out into the adjacent yard during our time, but didn’t stay long. my dog was pretty much fine with this, but that’s something to keep in mind if the sounds of other dogs barking might trigger your dog. the yard was nice and clean and toys, water and poop bags provided. thanks for having us and what a wonderful way to honor your fur baby ❤️

love the privacy fence so my pups could enjoy themselves and not patrol the perimeter of a new neighborhood. We also appreciated the convenient waste bin, seating area and little details so both human and dog could relax. We normally can't find a space that that lets the 3 humans and 4 dogs meet for a play date but this was great and we'll be back.

My dog and I had a wonderful time in this lovely space. My dog especially appreciated the water they so generously provide! Nice open yard with a high fence that I felt was secure enough that I could let my dog off leash. I did bring a bungee rope just to make sure the gate was securely closed and latched so that my dog couldn't accidentally push it open or anything. We heard a dog bark once or twice off in the distance. But other than that it was nice and quiet! A wonderful, clean, serene space for dogs like mine that have special needs, but still want to enjoy the outdoors!

While public off-leash dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than city parks.
