55Our new favorite spot! Easy to
find and park, private entry, chairs to sit in, and that’s just the start. So much space to play fetch and explore. There are even a couple large tires for the pups to jump on/over. This beautiful, peaceful property was perfect for our fearful doodle to explore. The owners are very friendly with prompt response to my questions. We’ll be back!Meagan M.

55This is a really nice sniff spot, not far from I-5 so would be good for a rest stop for Portland/Seattle travelers. Good fencing, chairs, and even a ball to borrow! Easy to find and park, the gate was open so the entrance was obvious. Those with reactive dogs should be aware there are two very large dogs who share the back fence line and some livestock (sheep?) in that back corner as well, so this is not ideal for reactive dogs. The host definitely did include this info in the listing so I'm not downgrading my review (it really IS a great spot otherwise) because it was my own fault for thinking that we were unlikely to really end up face to face with the dogs or sheep... but things went a bit downhill for us once my one dog noticed the sheep and his barking brought the big neighbor dogs over to the fence. For non-reactive dogs this would be a perfect spot.Stephanie O.

55The spot was very serene, a great place to play some frisbee with your dogs or just let them run. A pooper scooper, some bags, and hand sanitizer were provided next to two lawn chairs, which was a nice touch! The yard was clean, the place was quiet and the fence seemed secure. We would definitely enjoy visiting again, and I know our dogs would too! We did see the large dogs on the neighboring property, but they didn't bark and our more reactive guy didn't even notice them. More meddlesome was the outdoor cat that seemed to have fun taunting the dogs inside and outside the fence, meowing and running up the trees. Luckily, our dogs like cats, but someone who has a dog with a high prey drive may want to keep an eye out. Very sweet cat, wouldn't want to see them hurt! Laurie L.

55Great spot especially for a dog that likes to fetch! There are a couple of dogs at the far corner (as noted in owners description) not really a problem! Nice pasture area. Definitely lots to take in!
Close off of I-5 easy to find. Seemed very secure for medium and large dogs.

55Second time visiting, and it was just as wonderful! The owner was thoughtful enough to keep the cat away while we were visiting, so we had zero distractions. We brought 4 dogs today and they all had an absolute blast! Perfect place to play fetch and just let your dogs run.Laurie L.

55Easy to find and parking was easy. Great spot if you have a dog/s that like to chase balls, etc. The neighbor on the far end has goats that are super interesting to my dog (she is psychotic) and they also have a little dog that is allowed to roam. The fencing is secure but just be aware if you have a reactive dog like mine. Other than that, the spot was nice, clean, and a great place to let your pup run.Barbara O.

55Amazing! Lovely hosts, beautiful view of the valley, old growth trees - turn of the century property that gives green pastures for days! Made a hit with the dogs for sniffing, running and more!! We laid in the soft grasses dotted with wildflowers - perfect spot for meeting with friend. The dogs ran and ran - made us wish we booked more time. I loved the charm and character. This spot has a historical past and I'm very appreciative!Maria O.

55Arvid had an excellent time! We drove a little over an hour and booked a 2 hour block which was perfect! The area was securely fenced for our large dog and a great place for him to run, play and for us to practice recall exercises. It was as described and pictured. We could see/hear the neighbors and their goats in the back of property as mentioned in description. Our dog isn’t reactive but is on the protective side but the goats/neighbors were not an issue. Directions were to park near the barn and we did on the side of other vehicles that were there. The owners were on site and had their dogs in their yard on leash for very brief bathroom breaks that were still very distant from the area we were using so not distracting at all. The only suggestion would be to have some kind of signage for the Sniffspot stating that their is an Airbnb there also. It was distracting having multiple people going back and forth very close to the fence and engaging with/talking to our dog, and having someone ask us to move our vehicle because we were parked next to them. That was towards the beginning of the visit and once they left everything went smoothly. Overall we were very happy with our visit and hope to make it out there again for some great open area play time.Rachael H.

FAQ about our Chehalis fully fenced dog parks
Are fully fenced dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. Human and animal safety is our #1 focus. Without a private option, many dog owners are relegated to using athletic fields or tennis courts for their dogs, which are not private or safe. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars. And with fully fenced Sniffspot parks, you can get the safety of a fenced-in space for dogs, while still having plenty of space to run.
