This area has wooded trails as well as cleared areas. Densely wooded areas and thickets all around. TICK PREVENTION IS A MUST! There are no pesticides or herbicides used here. Only natural horticulture vingear for spot weed control. This area is located beside Bear Creek and when the creek is high or after a good rain IT WILL BE MUDDY on the right side of the property! Dry creekbed located across the back of the property. **The Creek is NOT accessible from the fenced property** -Water hose on site for use. Dog shower/bath area to the right of the shed with dog wash hose attached, shampoo, and wash shammy. Or you may bring your own bath supplies! There are plenty of interesting areas for your pet to explore and run and a lot for them to sniff and explore. The field is mowed weekly and may have some bare spots and occasionally dog poop. We are not UPSCALE. ALL BREEDS WELCOME. There is fun for Small and Large dogs. We are located in Southern Guilford County, just 2 miles off Interstates 85 and 73 and 5 miles from Wendover Ave with easy access. We have a water spigot on the property, free puppy pool, hose and spraying fire hydrant. We now have the Sunflower She Shed with an 8 foot covered porch with fan and an air conditioned and heated interior room with refrigerator and snacks to purchase. There is a wonderful glider in the shade, several benches with cushions, a hammock, zero gravity recliner, pillows and a lounging blanket are always included. I brought my personal dog here opposed to a shelter dog this time. Sadie had a BLAST! I really like that there's something for every dog. Toy box for the toy fanatic (toys are sanitized between visits....LOVE), 2 pools for the water dogs, lots of space for the runners, and shady areas for the ones who just like to chill outside. It's a very peaceful area.

This is a fabulous place for you and your dog. For you: Shady seats, peaceful country setting, easy to get to. For your dog: lots of room to run, sanitized toys to play with, dog pools and plenty of grass to roll in. The host is the nicest and has thoughtfully provide lots of extra amenities and safety measure (like sunscreen and a first aid kit). She was friendly and accommodating and is a generous supporter of helping homeless dogs in our community. Definitely a great place to bring your pups!

Had another amazing day at Sweetwater Ct. This spot has everything you need for your dog and you. Shaded areas, seating, toys, treats, pools , and splash pad. Water bowl is included as well. The host goes above and beyond to accommodate you and your dog. As part of the Dogs Day Out volunteer group, this is the perfect spot to take your pup to pamper them on their day out.

We, meaning Toby(our puppy) and children Absolutely Enjoyed Our Day at the Sniffspot. Running throughout the Large enclosed/Fenced backyard that also has 3 different water attractions for puppies as well as children. They ALL had a Blast. This location feels like time away yet local enough to go grab some lunch and have a picnic while watching the puppies enjoy their time of exercise and play time. Hi! My dog and a foster dog from Guilford County Animals Services visited the Sniffspot this past weekend! What a beautiful 😍 and peaceful place for dogs. I felt like I was on a sanctuary with the gorgeous yard, garden, and the view of the beautiful blue skies. There are cute and cozy benches for humans (and dogs), a "welcome" treat bag for the dogs (such a sweet gesture!), dog pools, and a toy box with toys that are cleaned between guests. My own dog (Gizmo) and foster (Josie) sniffed many spots like they were scrolling through their social media 😂. Next, they got the zoomies and then went for several runs through the "vineyard" (garden). They would take breaks in between, relaxing 😎 in the grass, and nibbling on their treats! Thank you for the amazing visit, and thank you even more for supporting the shelter's Dog's Day Out program by allowing the shelter dogs to play at no charge. ❤️ We had an amazing time and can't wait to come again!

What an incredible spot! The yard is very secure and very clean. Directions are very clear. The water features added so much fun and I highly recommend use of them if your dog loves water! There are plenty of toys to choose from, as well as treats, towels, a scooper, first aid, etc., there’s even a cute guestbook! You can hear dogs and other animals in the distance but it was not distracting or an issue for us at all. I am very satisfied with how much obvious thought and care goes into this spot. Baby Bacon and I had a very great and relaxing time and we will be back again!!

Are dog fields safe?

If you are looking for an adventure, but also looking for safety, Sniffspot dog fields are a great option. While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, distracted dog owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private space for just you and doggy friends you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). Especially for training, privacy is ideal.
