Spending an hour here will help you and your dog bond while getting exercise without the worry of other dogs/humans being on trail. From December first on, the spot will only be open if we don't have a significant amount of snow. Please check back regularly to see if any slots are open. Situated on a scenic working farm, the Pooch Playground spans about 1/4 acre and is fully enclosed. Tucked next to a small woodland area, this location offers enough distance from the house and barn for a feeling of privacy. The field adjacent to the area is preserved for wildlife. We mow the spot every week, except during drought conditions. We purposely maintain longer grass (2-3 inches instead of cutting it too short) to withstand high traffic and dog urine. We leave 'islands' of grass long for sniffing and exploration. Look at the pictures of the spot. If a toy ends up in the field and you don't want to walk through the tall grass, let us know, and we will retrieve it.

A large farm property. Featuring large fields with mowed paths for walking and long grass for exploring. There will be a seating area with a trash can provided for pet waste and drinking water for your fluffy friends. In case of sudden rain you are welcome to open the barn door and sit inside and wait out the storm or get out of the sun for a minute. Thier is a hose and kiddie pool if your dog wants to play in the water. Thier are goats and ducks on property in a fenced in area please control your dog around them and do not allow into the fences areas. Feel free to sniff through the fence. Your dogs can run off leash safely the property is located in a dirt road with little traffic lots of people walking the road with their pets. Thier is a public pond a little down the road you can walk to for even more exploring. *During the two blocked times is when we put the goats in and out and feed them. If you would like to book during these times please note we will be in and around the yard.

I have a 10 acre field (with some pretty nice views) + 60 acres of woods that I'd love to share. Right now the woods are in a pretty natural state (the trails aren't groomed & are in the process of being maintained) so depends on your adventure-ability whether you want to venture that way. There is a brook about 0.7 miles from the parking spot though! My dogs love it. But the field is great for getting a full sprint going or ball toss, etc. My dogs are visible from some areas of the field. If you would prefer not to see other dogs, please plan on walking the back woods with your dog(s). The field is fine to drive on - you'd pull in and drive along the left edge to the back where there is a gap in the rock walk and pick up the trails from there. Please do not park in the driveway - instead, pull off on the side of the road (please make sure you are fully off the road) on the grass or turn into the field a bit and park along the white fence
