Taylor pond is a 5 acre pond located in the heart of Poway. The amenities include a grass yard and yard in the back filled with wood chips and a eucalyptus grove as well of course as the pond. Keep in mind when you bring your dog we turn to work in the yard and also rent out a building in the back to Airbnb. So please make sure your dog is friendly with people.

"This field is huge! My dogs had an amazing time running around and exploring 😍 There is shade under the trees, and the part that wasn't fenced in wasn't an issue for us. If your dogs don't have solid recall, stick to the fenced side. The whole place is so big, you shouldn't have a problem getting a good amount of walking/running in, without coming too close to the un-fenced side. I walked around for about 2 miles, and I'm guessing my dogs probably did twice that 😆 The host was nice and allowed extra time, because I took a wrong turn coming there and was late to my booked time. We will definitely be back."

My dogs and I had a blast today at Taylor pond! There was plenty of space for them to run around and they even got courage to dip in the water a bit. The location is quiet and very private. The area was kept very clean and we will definitely be visiting again.

Our dogs had so a good time running around without any other dogs. They don't get along well with other dogs so we can't take them a lot if places, so to to give them 1 hour of freedom to have no anxietry

This was the perfect spot for our crazy puppy and our older dog who loves to swim. They were able to do whatever they wanted without worrying about them being in harms way. The space is perfectly suited for dogs of all ages and athletic abilities. We will be back for sure!

Our dogs love this place and get so excited whenever we go. There is an Airbnb in the back and so there is frequently people on the property so keep that in mind if your dog is reactive to humans. Today there were three young kids that kept running back and forth past my dogs and that made me a bit nervous as I have two cattle dogs that tend to want to herd anything running. Also, I had to ask the Airbnb guests to put up their small dog that was running around as I had reserved the spot for our 5 dogs. My dogs are usually very obedient and ok with other friendly dogs and humans but I prefer to not take any chances as I don't know how the other dog will be towards my dogs.

Taylor Pond is like getting your own private trail to walk. The property has the pond in the middle, and then a path that goes around it. I wanted more of a private walk than a large space for fetch or something like that, so this was perfect for my dog to take a stroll and soak up all the new smells!

Nice place for water activities with a dog and had very clean water for June. Easy access to water edge for dog and handler. Has a couple of small docks for 'dog diving'. Will come back regularly to get my retriever water time during summer when there's really nothing else available.

Fun spot! There are people on the property and going in and out of the gate. If your dog doesn’t have great recall it might be a little stressful

Another wonderful visit! The host kindly canceled the reservation I had but couldn't make, so we finally made it out a few days later. Great communication, the place is always clean and safe, and the dogs have a wonderful time every time we visit. We'll keep coming back 😊

This place is great. The hosts helped me set a day to visit that there weren’t other guests at the home, and the place is perfect for getting some training in with the dogs! Not to mention the property is BEAUTIFUL and Lexie loved swimming in the pond. The other dogs loved running in circles around the whole property- was so nice seeing them run free!

The pond was great, Max loves to swim and this was just right for him. Having other people on the property made us a little nervous because he can be reactive but we were able to keep him occupied. We will be back.

Taylor Pond was amazing! We have a reactive dog, so it was nice to have the place to ourselves. It was serene with lots of birds singing around us. We even got to see a turtle and a bull frog real quick before they slipped back into the water. Thank you for sharing this beautiful place with us!

The dogs had a great time! Thankfully, they were really worn out by the time we left. Taylor Pond is really nice and peaceful. The pond is large and there is a lot of other space to roam. I also appreciated the outhouse! We will be back!

Taylor Pond is great! My dogs really enjoyed running and playing in the water. There is a hose at the front that was great for rinsing off before heading to the car. There were people working in a shop in the back corner that had a dog out when we arrived, but they quickly put the dog away when they saw we had arrived. Overall it was a great experience and we will be back!

We visited for ~1.5 hrs and had a great time! The space is very welcoming and quirky. My dog swam in the pond and was so sleepy afterwards. According to his GPS, he ran for 2.5 mi!

Sniffspot only allows one booking at a time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the spot during visits. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between bookings.
