We have one full acre fully fenced with 4' high goat/sheep woven wire fencing. About 1/3 of it is open grassy field and the other 2/3 is nice shady woods. We in the process of over seeding the field to make the grass more lush this spring. We have added a few surprises down in the woods to make it more fun for our guests and their fur babies. There is an open lean-to where there are dog toys like frisbees and balls availble. There is also be a cute backdrop as a photo op for the dogs.

Welcome to our 12-acre horse farm! There are 4 horses that live here, but we have plenty of room and places for play for dogs as well! The indoor arena can be a perfect choice to let your dog run and play in bad weather. It's completely enclosed and lit. If outdoor choices are your thing, we have a fenced, outdoor arena with sand footing for your use. Or we have a 0.25 acre smaller area, fully fenced. As far as unfenced areas, there is about 5 acres of woods and about 0.5 acres of pasture that offer room to roam.

6.25 acres totally fenced in a country setting. A large portion of the property is accessible to pups, mowed field paths and lots of room to run. Quiet settings and woodland and farmland views. This is the country. No concrete…you will encounter dirt and smells of farm living. We have natural growth areas for wildlife that your dog may encounter that may be dirty and contain sticks, wildflowers, weeds, etc. Dogs love it here as it’s a place they can run and have fun. Please make sure your dogs are on flea preventative to ensure a flea free environment. If they are not on monthly preventative please administer 24 hour active flea meds prior to your visit. Conveniently located with a private entrance, and off street parking, this sunny, grassy spot is fully enclosed with a 6’ fence. Hose and electrical outlet are available for your use. There is a seating area around the fire pit for both you and your pet to rest in between playing. Plenty of room for your doggie to run or catch balls or frisbees.

OFF-LEASH DOG PARK RULES I. No person may bring into the off-leash area site: • dangerous and/or aggressive dogs • any Presa Canarios • a female dog in heat • more than two (2) dogs at one time • a dog without a current license and updated shot records • food or drink of any kind and treats for dogs II. Any person who brings a dog into the off leash site shall: • use provided materials and implements for removing and disposing of dog excreta and remove all excreta deposited by the dog in the off-leash site • lead the dog on a leash and retain the dog in custody when entering and exiting the off-leash site • keep the dog under visual and voice control at all times while in the off-leash site • stay in the off-leash area with their dog at all times • fill any holes that the dog digs in the off-leash site as well as other places in the park • remove the dog from the off-leash site at the first sign of aggression • be fully responsible and liable for the behavior and actions of their dog • be able to show proof of current license and updated shot records if asked by City personnel • abide by all other City rules and codes relating to dog ownership and care III. Any person who brings a child under 12 years of age into an off-leash site shall keep the child under strict supervision. Children under age 6 not permitted in off-leash area. IV. Use of an off-leash site by any dog constitutes: • implied consent of the owner, harborer, or person having care, custody or control of the dog to comply with all conditions and regulations stated in the section or promulgated by the Recreation Board and posted at the off-leash site • implied consent from the owner that the dog has a current license and up-to-date shot records • a waiver of liability to the City of Massillon, and the Parks and Recreation Department by the owner, or person having care, custody or control of the dog, and an agreement and undertaking to protect, indemnify, defend, and hold the City harmless, for any injury or damage caused by the dog during any time that the dog is in the off-leash site V. Hours of Operation: Dawn to Dusk
Parks & Recreation - Veterans Park - Dog Park Rules • Owners are responsible and liable for their dogs • All Township, County and State ordinances and statutes or administrative orders apply to the Dog Park • Park visitors use the park at their own risk • Park hours are from dawn to dusk • All dogs must have current licenses • All dogs must be current on immunizations and shots, including rabies, distemper and parvovirus • Dogs must wear collar with identification at all times • No choke or pinch collars are allowed in park • No puppies under four months of age • Limit of three dogs per visit • Leave unhealthy dogs and dogs in heat at home • Dogs should be leashed prior to entering and upon leaving the park • No animals other than dogs shall be permitted in the area • Dogs of known history of dangerous behavior such as aggression and mounting are prohibited • Quickly clean up after your dog and dispose of the waste in properly marked trash cans • Honor the patron's request regarding their dogs • Do not open outside gate if the inside gate is open • Do not leave a leash on your dog in the park • If your dog must be muzzled, it shouldn’t be in the Dog Park • No food or drink permitted inside dog park
