OKAY!!!! We were there for three hours and it just didn’t feel long enough. There is so much to explore!!! The river, tall grasses, untamed land where nature is just doing its own thing. I felt like I was in a Missouri State Park. Woofie is truly a wild dog so being able to take him here was such an amazing experience. I honestly could not say enough good things about the host and the property. Owner is very open and honest about the property, clear instructions and very communicative with anything I asked or needed. As soon as the dogs are well rested and ready we will be back 💗💗 (Wear a good pair of shoes, I wore hiking boots) There is a trail leading quite some way but does end into brush this time of the year!!! (Which was our favorite part)

This place is a real gem!! I’ve been a few times and every time feels like the first. There is always something new to explore! As fall and winter approach, accessing land outside of the trail gets easier! I’ve been wearing bibs so I haven’t had an issue really exploring!!! If the dogs weren’t so whooped we would be there a few times a week!!! Beautiful property for the owners to share with us and our dogs. Very private, very peaceful and so much fun!!!

Always such a good time! We haven’t been back since it flooded, so the dogs spent all of their time in the trees and logs that were piled up around the property!!! We got to explore new places today to all the brush being down! The river even looked different and the dogs can never stay out no matter them temp! I can’t decide if the dogs are having the most fun or if I’m having more fun exploring and watching the dogs truly be free! I didnt get out my phone one time for a photo! But there are plenty on here to give a glimpse of the neat property:) I cannot thank Shila and her family for allowing us to enjoy the property and how kind they have always been to us. We will always be back, like usual!

Such a fun experience for me and Mango! There was a point where I couldn’t find a trail, so we just roamed the woods, and that was perfectly fine with us. Wonderful opportunity for my dog to get some off leash time.

Beautiful spot! We enjoyed our time here and hope to return soon. Only small hitch was that the drive was a little steep and tricky to turn into with a lower clearance car (I drive a Prius), but we managed okay. Just something to be aware of!

We are so grateful this place exists and we are allowed to explore it in every way! We love how the land is untouched which means PLENTY of exploring for the dogs. I follow Woofie wherever he goes and he guides me all over. I enjoy it as much as he does! He spends his time swimming and exploring. Watching Woofie be wild is such a gift :) thank you so much for everything.

Amazing area, definitely wore our dogs out! Our dogs have to stay on leash and this was a great place to use 100ft leads and let them feel like they had freedom to explore!
