Rock Creek Dog Park is a 5 acre park located just outside of Davis Illinois and is a very quiet, tranquil and peaceful place surrounded by corn fields. Sit in the shade and enjoy a good book while your dog gets the exercise she needs, or get a good hike in for yourself as well. PALS park, is a space we have curated for our three dogs, Penelope (20 lb., (F) Boston Terrier), Arthur, and Lewis (55-70 lb., (M) Cattle Dog mixes and biological brothers). Arthur and Lewis “do not play well with others” (they're herding dogs and tend to herd other dogs). Penelope is smaller and getting older, so she gets bullied at dog parks. We needed an open space with fencing, a relatively quiet area, yet far enough away from residential areas because our dogs bark a bit more than average and we don't want to be a bother to our neighbors. We realized this is the need for many dogs and dog parents (like us), and those dogs are not always afforded the ability to go to a dog park and be off leash, and be in a stress-free environment. That’s why we offer our space, a place we have made exclusively to let our dogs and YOURS be the very best version of themselves. Dogs deserve to be dogs, and that’s our aim at PALS Park. *We also have a (M) grey and white cat named Stumpy. He is indoors 75% of the time and makes himself VERY scarce when new people/cars are around. *There is ample parking and the driveway and a pathway to the park will be cleared in the winter months. *There is a horse shelter in the park (we are slowly turning into the guest space). That’s where you will find several pooper scoopers with a bucket for poops without poop bags, a poop bag station, and a few mobile poop bag holders. There is a trash can for bagged poo and trash. We have set out some people chairs and an elevated dog bed. There is an always refreshed bucket of water at big pine tree by the shelter. And who can forget the toys? We have two deck boxes full of toys. A larger one near the house as well as a smaller one in the shelter. Toys can be put back in either one. **PROPER POOP DISPOSAL PROCEDURE** #2 can be: -pitched over the fence (bagless) -put into the trash can (if bagged) Karmic Poop Pick Up - we have a ton of space to play, so the odds of missing a poo now and then are high, we totally get it. See a poop? Pick it up (with a provided poop bag) and all day long you'll have good luck! We have a 700 gallon stock tank pool (not open November - April) just for the dogs. We will provide some towels, because we know a wet dog in a car is not fun. Please try to stay off the patio/porch near the home as it’s slippery when wet. Those areas will marked with a yellow plastic chain.

Garbage pail, tote with towels, bug spray, and sanitizer, water hose, bucket, picnic table, and chairs are available on the premises. Creek area extends from the southern road to the northern property fence line. Please look at Google maps/satellite for a better reference (our property is a large square that boarders 2 roads).

99% of the backyard fencing is 5-6’ tall. The gate you will enter and exit through is the only area that is 4’ tall. TONS of mature trees providing plenty of shade and a thicker tree line in the very back where your pup can sniff and explore! Lots of open lawn area to play and/or train. I will stay inside unless you would rather I come out and meet you and your pup. We have water bowls filled and a hose right there if you need more water. Patio has multiple patio tables and chairs if you want to chill while your pup plays. I do have a 28’ pool, 4’ deep which you are welcome to enjoy in warmer weather. I only ask that only dogs who are 20lbs and under enter the pool as I allowed a German shepherd in once. I have bottles water available, just ask! I only require about 15 minutes heads up so I can make sure my dogs are put up and inside so you can enjoy the backyard alone with your dog. If your dog needs another dog friend to play with we do have several here who are dog friendly and love to play ranging in size from a rat terrier up to a super sweet and friendly Doberman. But they have no problem staying inside too. We aim to please so just let me know what you may need!

The spot is a fenced horse pasture. (Horses will be locked near barn during your visit) the front pasture has woven wire fencing, and a second pasture has electric tape fencing (unplugged for your visit) you have access to both fields.

Doggieland play park is a private indoor dog park. Rentals are for one hour increments. You can add more time on the day of your rental, if available. We also offer dog grooming, dog training, bakery dog treats, and a self service pet wash for extra fees. We have three agility/play parks. We also have a seasonal outdoor splash pad available for rental. A $10 dog potty accident fee applies for any accidents during your visit.

Pack a lunch to enjoy on one of our picnic tables along the way or simply take in the peacefulness of the forest and wildlife. Adjacent to golf course, the well maintained grassy lawn continues to a wooded nook and shaded play swing. The yard is fully fenced with bottom wire and stakes.

We have out door play & Our indoor open-play environment encourages exercise and socialization for all dogs. Your dog will learn good behavior, learn to adjust to new dogs, make new furry friends and become more well-rounded with each day at doggie daycare.

Super peaceful, quiet. Lovely place to let big or small dogs run. The spot is rural but feel free to have the dogs run about the 5 acre property. Explore the old barn. But warning! There may be an occasional critter! It’s not often but maybe once or twice a year our own dogs see something (or think they do). The scenery is beautiful. The traffic is low and is on a quiet country road (not on a highway). Before my mom passed, we always had her dogs out to run, so we appreciate being able to share with others. Any trash can be thrown in the big trash can put front. Lawn chairs available too. Small kiddie pool with a water pump for the pool or just a water bowl.
