A large, open 1.25 acre fenced in yard with multiple small hills that is bordered on the west side by a public walking trail (with 6 foot fence) and on the north side by Rice Creek (with 5 foot fence). Note that the creek is not directly accessible from the Sniffspot. During the winter months, deer and foxes pass just outside of the fenced in yard, while in warmer months the creek entices additional wildlife as well as the occasional canoeist or kayak. Agility equipment pictured are available during the warmer months and are not available in the winter. There's abundant street parking as we are located at a dead-end. Please do not allow pups to dig or to enter the small separately fenced garden. Spring 2024 the yard is very tender with grass trying to recover from last year's drought, if you remember, it helps to throw "fetch" in lots of different directions to spread out the "wear and tear." Added FYI: Same day bookings will probably have the bedtime and morning 💩 from my pups since I routinely only pick up after work during warm months. If you book 24+ hours in advance I can squeeze in an extra poo pickup before work. *WINTER I pick up weekly, weather-permitting, so might not be a great spot for pups who eat poopsicles--you know who you are!

Plenty of room for some zoomies or fetch! ❗️recently added some DIY agility equipment We’re near to the airport, two preschools, apartments, and Target. The privacy fence blocks most of the visuals, but it can get a bit noisy with kids playing and planes overhead. There’s a couple neighborhood dogs, a few bark from inside their homes. We have a resident cat who will occasionally snooze in the window sill. ⚠️ the neighbor dog has recently become an escape artist and will wander over from across the street to sniff the green space next to our yard. Perhaps your dog(s) would like to take a run thru the 12 ft nylon agility tube, the adjustable garden hose nozzle will provide you the option to relieve yourself(s) and dog(s) with a cold refreshing mist, including sanitized stainless steel water dish(es) at your disposal, For clean up, towels, hand sanitizer & plastic small poop bags are at your disposal with a trash can to get rid of anything undesirable. It would make me very happy to know your dog(s) are enjoying the converted side yard private dog park, as my beloved dogs did, especially my white standard poodle Buddy, who the dog park is named after. The riverbed, grass field, and smaller fenced area are all open for play! We have a beautiful piece of land with a mostly fenced perimeter and 1/3 acre fully fenced doggy play area. If you drive in by the picnic table you are in the center of 18 acres to play on and will be quite a distance from the road. There are mowed walking paths to the beautiful Kinnickinnic river, far away from other people and animals. You and your dog will love it here! The river is cold and easy for dogs to hop in and out, (not easy for humans right now). If you want to keep them out of the water there is about 10 acres of open field where you park, separate and above the river so you don't need to have them down by the water at all. (although most dogs gravitate to there!)

My dogs loved having a whole yard to themselves, and I loved that it was fully fenced in with no other dogs for them to bark at. There were toys and water for them as well. My younger one ran until he was exhausted, and my older guy sniffed every blade of glass. We'll definitely visit again!

We loved our time at Debra's! Our pup enjoyed sniffing around and being a nosy gal. The yard was very large and clean, the fence was great and we could relax knowing our little wS contained and safe. This was our first Sniffspot experience and it was awesome! The yard was clean and spacious with plenty of room for my dogs to get their zoomies out. Secure fencing, even the one side with chain-link has a lot of greenery growing up along it for privacy. There were a couple dogs’ legs and snouts visible through a small gap under the fence facing the back neighbors, but they were super neutral, didn’t bark, and kept to themselves after they got their initial sniffs out. My dogs didn’t pay much mind to them and were too busy sniffing and exploring the rest of the yard. The kiddie pools were perfect for a hot day and we loved playing fetch with the provided balls and toys 🥰 Will definitely be back!

Debra’s backyard was exactly what our grand pups needed. They are visiting us from out of state and we don’t have a fenced in yard to allow them get their energy out. Big, beautiful, spacious backyard for my dogs to run around and explore! Lots of toys, treats and water (for playing in and for drinking) provided. The only downsides were specific to my dogs behavioral issues we are working on. Both dogs are reactive and the neighbors who share the 6 ft privacy fence have a couple of very sweet and curious pups who kept sticking their noses under the fence to say hello (no barking, very calm dogs). I got a kick out of it, however my dogs were not thrilled. Just something to keep in mind if your dog is very dog reactive! Also my younger pup will eat anything. Like.. anything. She digs around in the garbage often. That being said, there is an open compost bed that I had to shoo her out of a few times because she was trying to eat a decaying watermelon. Other than those two things this backyard is ideal for running your dogs and tiring them out!!

This was our first experience and it was nice to let our dog run freely. She was really happy with the amount of space and running she could do. Sniffspot only allows one booking at a time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the spot during visits. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between bookings.
