Welcome to our spacious, fully fenced 0.25-acre yard in Odenton, Maryland—perfect for off-leash fun, relaxation, and a refreshing swim! Amenities include: Swimming Pool - Available for both dogs and their human companions. Starting Wednesday, April 9, the pool will be open for use. Please note that water temperatures are currently below 60°F. While humans are welcome to swim, cold water can pose a risk of hypothermia. All guests who choose to enter the pool do so at their own risk. Secure Fencing - The yard is enclosed with a 5-foot wooden privacy fence. A few boards have become loose over the winter and are scheduled for repair over the next few weeks. While the yard remains generally secure, we recommend maintaining visual contact with any dog that may be a flight risk, just as a precaution. On-Site Dogs: Occasionally, we board up to four dogs on-site. They are kept calm and separated during guest visits to ensure a peaceful experience. Come enjoy a private, safe, and fun environment for your dogs to run, play, and swim!

But also there is free street parking. Please enter through the GATE RIGHT OF THE HOUSE - please see pictures for location. 1b- Please keep dog’s leashes on upon entering and exiting the spot. 2- There are garden chairs and a bench, please feel free to use them. 3- There is a box filled with fun dog toys and a couple of dog treats for you all to enjoy. 4- There is a water hose and a bowl, please feel free to use them. 5- We would be appreciate if you left the backyard as you found it. IMPORTANT: ALL DOGS MUST BE LEASHED WHEN ENTERING AND EXITING THE SNIFFSPOT, AND THE LEASH SHOULD BE KEPT WITHIN EASY REACH FOR QUICK ACCESS. THE DOOR FOR THE YARD WHICH IS THE FENCE GATE NEEDS TO BE SURED LOCK. means you need to make sure to check that the lock was hook so we can avoid incidents of the dog getting away. Half the yard is an open sunny field, the other half is shaded under tall trees. Huge patio, partially under deck for cover. Watering hose, water bowl, doggie bags, trash can on site. Please contact us for big events, gatherings or meet ups. There's a toy bin with dog toys, feel free to use them but please put toys back into the bin afterwards.

Welcome to the Blue House Play Park! Easy to find and convenient entrance to the backyard right in front of the driveway. Feel free to park on the drive or in front of the house if parking is available, or anywhere you see fit in the cul-de-sac. You will have uninterrupted time with your pup(s) in my large fenced-in backyard. I have one doggo but won't be outside during your booked time. Feel free to use the hose for water and the trash can to dispose of waste. I have a container of dog toys available for use, as well as added agility equipment for those who wish to do a little training. Feel free to use the hose/wash area to rinse off your dogs paws after play, no need to add the extra for that. The extra is if you want all the other stuff included for a more in depth bathing. The grass in the yard is cut every two weeks during the summer leading into the fall months. There may be some divots/holes in the yard so please watch your footing.

**Update as of 5/17/25. The grass is freshly cut and the yard is immaculate!** We have somewhere between a third to a half acre in our backyard, fully enclosed with a 5 to 7-ft wood fence. We have shady spots, but there also aren't too many trees, so there is plenty of room to play fetch and run around. Amenities include two different size jumps, a spring-loaded tug rope attached to a tree, a small dog tunnel, furniture on the lower deck for you to sit down, a hammock, and a trampoline.

Our yard has sunny areas, as well as plenty of trees providing natural shade and much needed coolness during those hot humid summer days.  A natural wooded yard that borders a county park on one side, with a 7ft wooden privacy fence all the way around the property, the front and neighbor side sections are double sided, so a perfect solution for reactive pups and a side entry gate.  Completely pesticide/herbicide/fertilizer free yard!  Our ground cover is soft playground wood chips, soft for all pup paws, specifically designed to be comfortable for all kinds of furbabies!  The playground chips are a natural tick repellent. We are open during rainy weather too for those of you with rain loving pups!  The overhangs, patio umbrella and tree coverage keep paw parents dry too!  Added bonuses, the chips dry quickly, there's no mud or slippery grass.  You can also enjoy a deck with a patio table, cushioned chairs, lawn chair seating and a hammock!  We also provide poop bags, doggie wipes and towels, extra dog water bowls, kiddie pools and outdoor spigot with hose for water bowl refills or hose play in the warmer months, elevated feeders for the pups who cannot bend down very well to drink and a few refreshments for humans too! Endless amounts of smells and sniffing opportunities from all the local wildlife that frequent our yard.  Good space for running, playing chase, frisbee, tennis ball, chuck it, for the energetic pups, and plenty of space for meandering, or just lounging around under the shade or in sun spots for the more mature pups!  The public park next to us has several wooded trails, so if your pup has any energy left, it is a nice park to walk. **Our priority is opening up our space for your furbabies to enjoy to their heart's content. If you need to bring your human children too, please make sure they are well behaved, respectful of our property and possessions, and under your mature supervision at all times! Smoking, vaping, alcohol and glass containers are NOT permitted at our spot. On site, there's toys, water, treats, poop bags, and bowls. Great spot next to an open field with plenty of shaded seating if you wanted to sit and read while your pet enjoyed the open space!

Fully fenced yard (approximately 6900 sq. Ft). Water, patio table, and umbrella. Free parking in the driveway or on the street. May see the neighbor’s dog briefly when walking down patio steps next door, but the fence is not see through. 4 foot fence on the side and 6 fence in the back to protect from the wooded area. Can walk to the Whole Foods and Riverdale Park shopping area. Walking distance to and from the College Park metro (3/4mile)and Hyattsville Crossing metro (1.1 miles)

Fully fenced large-ish yard w/ a native garden. This space is not overly manicured, so let those pups rip 😁. Also, the garden is hearty, so feel free to let the pups roam in there if they want. There are a couple of trees to help provide shade, a shallow kiddie pool to cool off in, and the hose nozel has various settings to help chill your pups out.

A spacious backyard between UMD & Washington DC. Occasional deer, but they leave as soon as they see a dog. Gazebo w ample seating available upon request. Fence on one side is approx 4 ft, so no jumpers or escape artists please.

We no longer have goats. 8 acre pasture completely fenced in with wood fence and field wire. Field is currently completely cut. You are allowed to drive your vehicle in to the field without having to leash your pup! It’s such a large area that waste removal isn’t required unless it happens right in front of you. If that happens, please dispose of over the fence. Shovel provided a entry. Just for your information. This “farmette” is in a neighborhood so there may be other dogs in other peoples yards that you might hear. We also have a family dog that might be visible occasionally in our own private yard, far away and totally separate from the Sniffspot. If your pet is very sensitive and can’t deal with even the site of and or hearing another animal, unfortunately this is not the spot for you. Finally, we are a community of pet lovers and we all pull together and support each other positively . If you have any issues at all, please reach out to me and I will make it right . We have received 1 out of 100 less than stellar review left simply because our family dog was let out in our front yard totally separate from the Sniffspot for five minutes and I just don’t want there to be any other negative experiences. Thank you!🙂

JD is a highschool athlete raising funds for his travel baseball fees. He LOVES dogs. So he convinced Mom & Dad to use the fully-fenced back yard for SniffSpot. If there’s something you need, we are flexible, just let us know! JD wants your pup to feel at home here. <3 UPDATE: We're now offering themed Dog Parties (birthdays, holidays, etc.) as we approach summer.
