Taylor pond is a 5 acre pond located in the heart of Poway. The amenities include a grass yard and yard in the back filled with wood chips and a eucalyptus grove as well of course as the pond. Keep in mind when you bring your dog we turn to work in the yard and also rent out a building in the back to Airbnb. So please make sure your dog is friendly with people.

"This field is huge! My dogs had an amazing time running around and exploring 😍 There is shade under the trees, and the part that wasn't fenced in wasn't an issue for us. If your dogs don't have solid recall, stick to the fenced side. The whole place is so big, you shouldn't have a problem getting a good amount of walking/running in, without coming too close to the un-fenced side. I walked around for about 2 miles, and I'm guessing my dogs probably did twice that 😆 The host was nice and allowed extra time, because I took a wrong turn coming there and was late to my booked time. We will definitely be back."

Tilly and I had such a great time! It's the perfect place to let loose; lots of room, no dangers (though she was a little surprised when she chased a duck and ended up swimming!). It was raining, and the trail on the left side was soggy, but we didn't care. I saw David and his dog, and he was quick to take the dog out of sight. I can't wait to come back (maybe in the sunshine)

Beautiful spot for the dogs to run and play! We met a few friendly people too, which was great for my dogs to socialize, though anyone with people reactive dogs will want to send a note ahead of time. My dogs don’t swim much but any water loving dogs would be in heaven with the pond.

What a great spot for our dogs! I thought for sure my dogs who don't like water would just run around the exterior of the pond but to my surprise the water was too enticing for them to pass up and one of them even went for a swim. Tons of great areas for them to run around and explore! Among other dog-friendly toys, etc., the owners also had towels and a hose ready to rinse our pups and dry them off before putting them back in my vehicle - so thoughtful and very much appreciated, especially since I did not think my dogs would get wet, so I did not think to bring towels! We will definitely be back!!

What a marvelous spot!! My wife and I went for the first time today. We and our 2 yr old German Shepherd had a blast, his ball drive had him swimming in no time as well as lots of laps around the well kept and lovely property. Nice hose available for rinsing him off afterwards and towels as well. We will definitely be back 👍.

Visiting Taylor Pond took me right back to my childhood in Northern Minnesota. Lots of wildlife, fun swings and hammocks, and space for the dogs to explore. There is an older dog on the property, but my dogs didn’t pay them much attention. My dogs enjoyed the pond on a hot day and luckily David provided a hose and towels ☺️
