55This yard is great as has very secure fencing and is large and grassy. The only obstacles are two small trees which are easy to avoid throwing around for the "ball focused" dogs. It is nice to be able to pull into the short dead-end street to unload/load dog(s) as there a nice large door/gate there to enter into the yard. Kim H.

55This yard is perfect for playing fetch as it is flat, nice grass and open. There are only 2 small trees for obstacles and they are easy to avoid for those that have super focused "ball chasers". There is a large door/gate off the dead end side street that is perfect for unloading/loading up your dog(s). The fencing is super secure at this location and 3 sides are high wooden so very private. I am very happy to find this "Sniffspot" under 15 minutes away.Kim H.

55We had a blast here! Plenty room to run, plus lots of trees and other obstacles to practice nature agility or other fun doggy antics. Clean, very helpful hosts, easy to have fun here. My dog and I enjoy rougher terrain, and this has that option as well as nice and flatter trails - something everyone can enjoy here.Melanie Y.

55SashaBear and Max had the pleasure of being the first guests at this new Sniffspot.
Quiet country setting with about 4 acres of trails and 1 acre of mowed grassy area. The trails were a excellent workout for all of us. The snow was making the ground a bit muddy but I came prepared with waterproof boots lol.
Can't wait to see the beauty of this place once spring gets here! Within our hour we spotted deer and a huge group of turkeys!
If you have dogs with good recall, high energy and want a good hike for yourself, this acreage checks a lot of boxes! Hosts were excellent communicators and very nice. My pictures don't do this spot justice! Tess V.

55What a fun yard with lots of little areas to explore! We love playing “find it” with our dog, so all the different sheds and pockets of woods worked really well. And the creek was cool! There is plenty of mowed, grassy areas to play fetch as well. The house is far back enough from the busy road that we weren’t worried about that. Jenn R.

FAQ About Elk River Dog Parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?

With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 2% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Elk River area are 5 stars.
