55It was fun! Plenty of room and the extra toys were nice to have. Our dog is out of shape so we need to up his walking cause he overdid it but he had a blast. He’s too pushy with other animals so it was nice to not have to worry about that and our yard is too small. He did enjoy the water in the ditch. We hadn’t planned on that but we found a towel in the car. :) We will use again once he’s better able to handle a running fetching session! Theresa J.

We realized, too late, that you don't need to bring bags for the poop. They have their own waste disposal system. Just use the tool and drop it in the can. There is no place for disposing bags of poop, so if that's what you prefer, you need to pack it out.
It was so nice to just relax and not worry about other dogs or dog owners, unless we wished to invite friends. We will definitely return.

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers).
