We have a beautiful secluded property on the Sespe Creek in Fillmore. We have acres of orange trees and two fully fenced areas. One is a fenced 100 x 200' sand arena with access to water and shade. In this arena there may be a small amount of sheep droppings if we have been training the dogs for sheep herding. There is a second arena that is 80 x 120' with agility equipment and the sheep don't go in that area. Dogs can play off leash and stretch their legs in either area. Please do not move the agility equipment around. You are also welcome to make your way down to the creek and let your pup swim and play. Outside of the fenced arena you are welcome to wander in our orange orchard at the bottom 1/2 of our property but please don't approach any residences or allow your dog to bother the livestock. There are sheep in a fenced area and Tank, our livestock guardian dog, lives with them. *Please note - The sand is pretty soft and dogs love to dig in it. They are welcome to dig but please fill in any holes they dig (it’s as easy as dragging the sand back into the hole with your foot) because they create a tripping hazard for other dogs and people.

A rustic, ranch terrain private 2 lot backyard with a pool, zipline (150 LB limit PLEASE), treehouse, foosball, croquet and trampoline. The fun dogs really love the trampoline. Many venture into the treehouse. Chasing a kid down the zipline is very exciting. Beware of mole holes and where dogs have dug up the yard. Again, rustic! Lots of dirt and unlevel terrain, so flip flops are for the pool area only. Wear shoes if you’re venturing into the yard, easement, treehouse, and unbuildable yard up the hill. Water bowl is by the hose. Please refill them for the next guests. Feel free to hose down the pooches if necessary. It gets hot and dusty! Some of them like drinking from the hose which is fine, just try to aim it away from dirt areas so there’s less mud baths for those crazy dogs to roll around in please. This family loves dogs, and we just lost one of our own and often board other dogs. They may be jealous and bark to let us know they want to play or they’re warning us there’s someone in “their” yard. If you don’t like barking, don’t come here. Our neighbors dogs bark too. Pending your arrival and leave time there may be other dog poop that we haven’t been able to get to or other sniffspotters missed, so just get your own doggies poop if you can catch it. Pay it forward if you notice one someone may have missed. It happens. We have a bucket and poop grabber available. Just leave it in there. We’ll take care of it. If you insist on using your own bags, please only use disposable environmentally safe ones as this area has been zoned for composters and all poop bags and poop go in the green bin in the driveway. If they aren’t the biodegradable kind, please take your poop bags with you. There is a yellow pitcher for the boy dogs who love to pee on things. IF you catch them peeing on the chairs, perhaps you could help yourself and other guests not to smell it by filling that pitcher with pool water and pouring it onto the marked territory. Thanks! You will find various remnants and maybe even newer toys strewn across the yard. They’re there to be enjoyed by all the doggies. The pool is for the dogs and you too! Bring your towels and swimsuit. Bring a friend or two, no extra charge. Safety in numbers. We want this space to be used by others at a reasonable rate financially and good time investment. So please, please clean up after yourselves, so we don’t have to hire someone to be on staff to clean up and raise the rate or shut this thing down. This includes skimming the dog fur off the top of the water, removing debris you dragged in, and reconnecting the pool sweep if you or your dogs disconnected it. Play and swim at your own risk. If you have any questions about anything, please ask. There is lots of seating to watch the pool activity if you have that lab that needs pretend they’re at the lake. Ask Alexa (in a red lantern next to the door by the tiki bar)to play whatever music you want. Picnic at the fire table or on the back deck. If ya find a table dusty, some rags and windex are at the tiki bar. If you spill something, please clean it up for the next guest.

great, quiet spot for my gentle dog! she tried some water for the first time recreationally. nice area and lots for my dog to do when she was out of the water. host was generous! i regret not being able to take photos but maybe next time! This place is amazing! Being surrounded by nothing but nature is so serene. The host is the sweetest and left out treats, toys, towels, and plenty of other items for us to enjoy. The lot is extremely clean and fun to navigate around!

Beautifully planted and decorated pool and yard! Private with a decent amount of shade. Great shallow area for dogs to accommodate to water before jumping in or for those who just like to get their feet wet. Host was very nice and accommodating. Please note this yard is better for dogs who just want to play in water or swim. There isn’t much room or grass for romping around.

Thank you, George, for opening up your beautiful pool to us. It was the perfect way to spend a hot summer day with our pups! George met us in front of the house and showed us around. The pool was lovely with 3 levels: a shallow "beach" area, a deeper standing area, and then a deep end. There was a gorgeous waterfall with terraced landscaping. It was an oasis! We had a blast, swimming and playing with our pups. George was super nice. He was a great communicator and very attentive. We will be back!!

The perfect water park for dogs - this place looks like a tropical paradise! George, the host, is very friendly and accommodating. The pool had a shallow area, wading area, and deeper area — great for pups at different levels of swimming ability (or size). There was a canoe and floaties that we could have used if we wanted to. We also enjoyed the impressive mango grove, landscaping, outdoor shower, waterfall, and fountains. The area had plenty of shade — could not tell it was a hot hot day. We’ll be back - with friends!

This was one of the best sniffspots I've ever been to! It was over 90 degrees but it felt like an island oasis in this yard. Lots of cool plants which provided shades and the pool designed specifically for dogs was exactly what my small terrier needed to gain her confidence with water! Our springer spaniel friend loved jumping off the deep-end! The host was incredibly nice and provided us water and offered us snacks. Couldn't ask for a better evening. Will definitely be back!

George is a thoughtful, generous host who has created an oasis. When we arrived, he not only had a water dish ready for our dog, but he also had set out cups and a carafe of water for the humans too. Two hours went by so quickly. A gorgeous waterfall and the lush vegetation makes the entire pool area feel like we are in Hawaii. The pool itself is really clean and although our dog preferred the shallow areas, it’s nice that the pool is ideal for everyone. There’s also a great outdoor shower area with hot water that was great to use before driving home. We brought our own inflatables but our dog preferred George’s floatie. We already bought a doggie life vest for our next visit! Thanks for sharing your space with us, George!

After striking out at the only local venue that offered space for a dog party, I took a chance and contacted Clay to see if they would be willing to allow us to rent the sniffspot for a party with an initial guest list of 30 dogs and 50 humans. Clay agreed and the planning began. Not only did Clay allow me to view the property prior to the date to get an idea of what could be done, they went above and beyond on the day of the party as well to ensure the dogs had fun. Overall it ended up being 27 humans and 14 dogs that attended the party. Everyone could not stop talking about how fantastic the property is and the party was hands down an absolute hit. Use of the outdoor grill allowed for fresh hotdogs and a 3 folding table setup courtesy of Clay held the rest of my menu & beverages (Pupcakes, cupcakes, chips & veggies w/hummus). The yard was clean, huge and offered all the dogs a comfy place to do whatever they desired whether it be playing fetch, lounging about or begging for a hot dog! Clay even went to Petco the morning of and purchased new toys, to be sure that all the dogs would have the opportunity to play and have fun! I could not have asked for a better place, a more accommodating and friendly host or a more fantastic celebration of my dog Pumpkin Pie Otter Pop. Clay’s sniffspot has given me precious memories of time well spent with friends, family and my favorite dogs.
