We ask that you please stay out of the treeline to the right of the driveway as you drive up the hill It's the neighbor's property and it's marked by no trespassing signs. There is no house on the property. Just a camper and a shed. Park anywhere on the road or at the big circle at the top (near the farm office.) We have wifi near the brown shed at the top of the road. The back right corner of the yard has a play area with a playhouse, caterpillar tunnel, tire tunnel, climbing cube, climbing dome, car bed, the biggest tire you’ve ever seen, and hammock. We also have a bunch of dog toys, including several herding balls of various sizes. Part of our yard is shady and part is sunny. You get the best of both worlds. The pool is completely fenced off from the rest off the yard. You don’t have to worry about your dog(s) accidentally falling in. Our yard is handicap accessible. There are no stairs to climb. The entrance to the backyard is a flat grassy area. The gate leading to the back yard is wide enough for a wheelchair or power chair. The yard has a slight incline, but there are no major obstacles that would prevent a wheelchair from moving around. We are located in Sykesville, MD which is about 30 mins from Baltimore and Columbia. 15 minutes from Owings Mills, Ellicott City, and Westminster.

We had a hard time finding this place. I made the mistake of not reading the detailed instructions in the email :/ however once getting there it was great to let the dogs off lead in the woods! The stream was mostly dry today. Be prepared for lots of ticks. There was no one in sight except one deer!

A great space for our dogs to play. The owner happened to pass by and checked with us to be sure we had everything. The agility gear was good for our dogs. The only "downside" was that the agility ramp was small for our dogs, but that didn't detract from a good time 🙂 It's a nice, secluded spot with easy access. There was a kiddie pool (which our dogs would have loved if it was hot weather-it was cool and rainy when we visited), but I didn't see a hose for filling it up. I'd ask ahead if you think your dog will want to take a dip.

Five Stars for Wye Creek Farm. I've been to many Sniffspots before and Wye Creek tops all. The owner has two large fenced in areas, in addition to well-marked trails with a creek. Truly fabulous. My dogs had much fun. If your dogs are reactive, you may want to leash them as you get to the top of the hill on the path as there are houses there. The houses are mostly hidden, but just in case..... I will be back to Wye Creek. Truly great!
