We are the longest running SS in the area- hosting doggies since 2020! The Sniffspot play area is from driveway to rear of property. A row of chairs semi-blocks Hosts area of backyard belongings, but it is not a problem for doggoes or hoomans to temporarily go there to sniff, pee and fetch balls. The drought, popularity & watering restrictions do affect the condition of the grass. The rest of the yard is not accessible to Sniffspot including using the bathroom. Fenced backyard area is along side street. Most of the 4-foot fence side street side is covered with privacy slats & landscaping. The chain-link driveway entrance only has privacy slats. You would be the only guest for your booked time. Please securely latch & rechain gate when arriving & departing. Refer to photos. (You can cancel the required Sniffpass Subscription immediately after your first visit too)

The yard is entirely fenced with lots of spots to sniff and explore. **UPDATED SUMMER INFO: We now have a brand new umbrella to shade the seating in the back yard! Additionally, the yard receives shade in the early morning and the late afternoon beginning at 4:30pm. The turf can get hot in the sun, use the provided beach towel or hose to cool it off (please use sparingly, we are trying to control the mosquito population!).

Fully fenced backyard by Sunset Blvd in Silverlake. Close to DTLA, Hollywood, etc. Large backyard area with astroturf grass, area with mulch dirt, etc. There’s 3 levels so it’s a great place for dogs to run and jump around. Plenty of shade from trees and lounge chair seating for the pup’s humans. Please keep in mind: there are a number of stairs to get to the backyard area (see pictures!). The backyard also has levels that are not fenced and there are different types of terrain in the spot (astroturf, rocks, dirt, etc).

Hose with "shower" feature available for dogs who like to run around in the water on hot summer days. Water bowl. Hammock. My dog (3 y.o./f mutt, 17 lbs, and very social) is generally inside the house with me, as I work from home, and she can come out to play with your dog if you're looking for a playmate. If not though and your dog prefers solo sniffs, that's okay too! We'll stay inside and give you full privacy.

Listen to the birds and sound of the wind in the trees while you enjoy quality time with your pup. Plenty of seating options in the sun or shade for humans, grassy shade options for pups in the late afternoon hours. A great place for energetic pups to play catch, for smaller dogs to wander and sniff safely, and for older dogs to roll and relax peacefully in the sun. Fresh water from a hose, toys and treats for pups always available. Poop bags for their human helpers, along with Wi-Fi, hand sanitizer, and outdoor outlets. Ample, non-permitted street parking available on our quiet street, and lots of gorgeous sunshine. It’s our oasis and we are excited to share it with you!

Under a large Magnolia tree in the center of the yard, there is a brick patio with a table and chairs, grass and mulched flower gardens bordering the fence. Room to play ball, ground or just relax. Yard is approximately 64' x 35' excluding gardens. No bags needed as we have a poop scoop available. An additional small fence separates the yard from the driveway (fully enclosed inside the large fence). Please bring your own water and bowl if desired.
