Near McIntyre Square/UMPC Passavant/McCandless Crossing. If it has been raining, you can expect the yard to be somewhat muddy. You may park in our driveway or on the street. Enter the backyard via either gate and enjoy! Get out of the sun under our deck or the many tall trees bordering the yard. There is a water jug under the deck filled with tap water. I don't provide a bowl for sanitary reasons, but you can bring your own, or in a pinch, use a poop bag! Poop bags by the water jug, and also on the gate by the driveway. Dog waste and other trash may be discarded in the white trash can under the deck or in the large black trash can marked "Trash Only" outside the driveway gate. Under the deck, there is a bin of dog toys for your use - flirt pole, chuck it balls, tugs. If your dog likes to dig, they may dig freely in the dirt under the deck. This is a yard full of great sniffs! Many dogs love to climb up on the stone walls and sniff everything. Running around on the huge deck is also popular! Basic table and chairs for your convenience in the yard and on the deck. Note: The large deck has two bird feeders containing safflower seed. Safflower seed is NOT toxic to dogs. The bird feeders are out of reach of most dogs. Please keep your dog leashed until you are in the backyard. DO NOT ENTER OTHER PEOPLE'S YARDS IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD. **Please use caution in winter as everything will be snowy and slippery. The backyard and deck are not maintained in winter.

Our home sits on 8 acres with Glade Run Creek running through it! We have two large fields as well as woods in the back of the house. If you need a quiet place for your dog to roam and swim like our dogs do, please enjoy! (My dogs will be put away and we no longer have birds…just a cute photo for reference/view of the property) Note: the field with the golf course and volleyball is not our property. One of our neighbors has a dog that is occasionally out which we have no control over, however, there are 8 acres to explore so if you see his dog outside on his property, it’s easy to avoid an interaction. In the summer, the wire fence around the garden in the front field is electric to keep out deer, won’t hurt your pup but will definitely give them a startling zip if they touch it. If we are home we will sometimes be out on our deck, mostly in the summer, but our house is up on the hill and with 8 acres to explore and the creek running through the center of our property, it’s easy to still have your privacy.

Hey everyone, My partner Wendy and I have a fully fenced (6 ft tall), private backyard (~1,700 sq ft) in East Liberty a few blocks from the Target and in the middle of the East End of Pittsburgh. We don’t use the backyard as much as we should, so we’re offering it to you and your pets! And our indoor cats, Binks and Tonks, will really enjoy seeing your dogs run around back there. This very private area has a natural dip from the main road that protects puppers from wandering into unknown territory. Two fields of 4 acres each are available for the sniff spot; one field has 7 baby apple trees and the other has a very large, flat area for the dogs to run. Feel free to park in the main house driveway and walk your dogs across the street to enjoy our little haven from city life. You should have both flea and tick medications up-to-date since deer and groundhogs often walk through the fields in the early morning and evening. Please bring your own water for the dogs, though a hose is available in the main house driveway as well. I hope you enjoy!

We own approximately 7 acres in Franklin Park that is mostly flat with some hills. Approximately 3 acres of flat pasture, and 4 acres of woods that circle the property and behind the home. There is a stream that flows through the property which borders the pasture entering the woods and a bridge to cross. Hills naturally fence in the property and will keep your pup safe. There is plenty of room for any dog, kids, and family to play! Feel free to use the hammock and garden table in the woods to relax. Also, your children are welcome to use our Club house/Swing Set, roller coaster, or pretend house at your own risk. If you enjoy our property and would like for your pup to experience it more and need boarding, I board as well! Please find me on Rover and book your pup's stay!

Beautiful large yard I have 3 dogs myself which will not be a problem they will stay in as your dog or dogs enjoy a safe fun lots and lots of toys running spot. Call ahead I will get all ready you will not be bothered or disappointed thank you

Large play area for dogs on dead end street over looking city of Pittsburgh. School and park close by very quiet and can park off street. No dogs close by but may see some deer and groundhogs etc. and some cats. Yard is unfenced and has pear tree in center. I’m just trying this so as it gets used will be happy to make a nice, safe secluded area to sit back and enjoy.

Fully fenced, shady, 1/3 acre grassy yard on the original Thaw estate. You will likely see deer, squirrels, rabbits and turkeys during your visit along with my 12 chickens who live just outside the fence. Within the fence is a fully enclosed furnished sunroom where you can sit out of the elements and read, enjoy a beverage or have lunch or just relax in the breeze from the 100 year old oak trees.

WE TEMPORARILY HAVE TURNED AVAILABILITY OFF SO WE CAN PLANT GRASS IN THE BARE SPOTS AND ALLOW IT TO GROW FOR THE SPRING. Will most likely only take two weeks so we will be back to full availability soon. Back yard is about 3/4 to an acre fully fenced. There is an above ground pool with a fence around the deck. Small dogs will be able to sneak through the pool deck fence so use caution with smaller pups. We block the deck off with all the pool junk best we can. Depending on if we are home the yard is always picked up before each guest and fresh water put out for your pup. If you need to book with shorter notice, send me a message and see if I can make accommodations. I also block time off to mow grass or if we are using the pool. A lot of the time I am done early so you can always message me and we can see if it’s available. Any questions just ask :)

The Splash Park and the Dog Stop at Upper St. Clair is available to your pup as an activity to get out this summer. With a fire hydrant that shoots water out, a sprinkling tennis ball, and completely fenced in yard, it will be a fun day for you and your pups!

Located in the heart of downtown Pittsburgh, the Downtown Dog Park is an unfenced area at 901 Fort Duquesne Blvd. This park provides a convenient space for dogs to play and socialize. With a table for dog owners to sit and watch their pets, the park is open from 6 AM to 9:30 PM seven days a week. Though there are no additional amenities, the Downtown Dog Park offers a central location for city-dwelling dogs to stretch their legs and enjoy the outdoors.

Spring 2025 Some days may be blocked off for us to mow and get our yard ready for spring! We are planting clover seeds in the dead patches so we apologize for any muddy spots around the yard after rain! Message me for any questions or concerns. Hello! Our house is located in the south hills of Pittsburgh between Baldwin and Whitehall. Close by Bethel Park and West Mifflin, there’s a Lowe’s about 5 minutes away too for dog training! We have two senior small dogs and a cat, they may come up to the glass doors looking out to the yard and patio to say hello. Our backyard is fully fenced in and we sometimes see rabbits, squirrels, many birds, chipmunks, and deer! There are a few gaps in the fencing near the gates so very small dogs will need to be supervised in case they can squeeze through. We have a small 10lbs senior dog and have never had her escape but just be aware. Two large dogs live next door to us and we share a fence line with them, they are friendly but do bark! The yard is uneven so please NO human running and watch your step!!! Please do not park in our driveway in case we need to leave during a booking. There is open parking on the street in front of our house and gate access located by the garage on the left side of the house. We hope you and your dogs have a great time!
