We have a fire pit with seating in one of the grass acres. There are no longer Alpacas and goats here as they’ve moved to the farm down the road. But you will come across Canadian Geese and Wild Turkeys, and sometimes Deer. As you drive by the red barn to the parking area you will sometimes see our dog friendly dog Butch in his gated area most likely sleeping! 😄 Once you reach your parking it is private and you are alone.

Our very friendly resident furbaby Finn loves to share his property with new furiends (if ok with their human) and is always happy to join in. Nurtured by Nature is a thriving kids summer day camp but currently off season so we are open 7 days a week. So for the safety of the kids and respect to their families we are unable to have the area available while the day camp is open. This is for only 6 weeks in the summer. A beautifully Well maintained fenced field (chemical free) with shaded perimeter. Two buildings… one for human shelter with comfortable seating and one designed for canine barn hunting. Multiple obstacles for dog enrichment. Truly a special spot for you and your dog to enjoy together.

***Important: All charges are in USD*** Beautiful 25 acre farm of open hay fields surrounded by fencing on all sides. However, the fencing is mostly Horse board-style fencing with some cattle panel type fencing along the roads at the front. Horse farms are on either side of the property. The back of the property is open forest with board fencing as well. Lots of room for you and your dog(s) to run and play. Approximately 20 acres of open fields. No muddy areas and fields are well drained and dry.

70 acres of open farmland, woods and a creek. Your dog is about 1/4 km away from all other yards and buildings at all times. You may hear a dog bark in the distance depending on air quality, but it will be faint. You can take an easy hike along the field edge, or let your pet have the full experience of sniffing out coons, opossums, squirrels and many other things in the woods. The woods trail is steep and sloped for a portion of the way, and eventually joins the field edge trail. Neither trail is cleared of snow, but the woods trail mostly doesn't have a deep snow layer. Both trails give you access to the creek. Round trip to the back of the farm and back is 30-40 minutes at a good hike. In the summer, a beautiful rest camp is set up at the back for you to detox and enjoy the silence while your dog is in the water. A hose and/or small pool is provided at the front for your dog's rinse.

The dogs just love it as they can run free. There's occasionally deer and turkey and rabbits around to keep an eye out for.

Lots of wildlife in the area including deer, raccoons, groundhogs, porcupine, skunk, wild turkey, fox, coyote, coy wolf, etc. so dogs must be on leashes while in the open areas.

This space is easily accessible from the road and has two large solar panels so you can't miss it! There are ponds available as well, just over the small hill of the field but usage of this pond will need to be discussed before hand. We ask that your dogs have a decent recall as we have other animals on the property. And please, pick up after your dog there is a garbage can on site!
