55Only my second sniffspot experience. Iโll definitely be back! Totally worth the hour drive. I have three Great Danes, two puppies, and one 1.5 y/o foster fail. So, we are practicing recall, pack walking/jogging, etc. It is a challenge to find space with nobody around where we can all roam freely off leash and practice together! The only thing I would say is that there was one section where we came up on road, house, and other dogsโฆ We were on a trail that opened up to it, but we didnโt see the section coming, so we werenโt fully prepared/leashed, as we thought we were deeper in the wooded area. Thatโs on us, though, as we were new to all of it, and were so happy to be exploring that we were just following a new path without being super conscious about maps, etcโฆ I loved the area, and the written letters telling the family history of the land, the treat boxes, etcโฆ. For being woods and fields Iโve never walked before, it felt like a very homey and inviting land to explore. My dogs were resting peacefully in the ride home, which was so very needed with my work schedule being extra hectic lately, & them all being extra hyper!!! 5 out of 5, 10 out of 10! Curious to know if we covered all of it, or if there was more we may see next time!?! Great first experience! Looking forward to next time! Megan M.

FAQ about our Hillsboro dog parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.

While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers).
