Taylor pond is a 5 acre pond located in the heart of Poway. The amenities include a grass yard and yard in the back filled with wood chips and a eucalyptus grove as well of course as the pond. Keep in mind when you bring your dog we turn to work in the yard and also rent out a building in the back to Airbnb. So please make sure your dog is friendly with people.

"This field is huge! My dogs had an amazing time running around and exploring 😍 There is shade under the trees, and the part that wasn't fenced in wasn't an issue for us. If your dogs don't have solid recall, stick to the fenced side. The whole place is so big, you shouldn't have a problem getting a good amount of walking/running in, without coming too close to the un-fenced side. I walked around for about 2 miles, and I'm guessing my dogs probably did twice that 😆 The host was nice and allowed extra time, because I took a wrong turn coming there and was late to my booked time. We will definitely be back."

Taylor Pond's close proximity, ambience, wide trail to run on, and friendly owner is the best thing to happen to my rescue Aussie. The new fun thing today was a candy dispenser machine that had tasty dog treats in it. Great idea for those who forgot treats or want to try something new! Somebody left a couple quarters on top for us to use (thank you to whomever did that)! We then paid it forward and left a couple quarters for the next guest.

This place is great, we drove 2+ hours to get there and it was totally worth it! Our 3 pups had an adventure ...swimming, sniffing, checking out the ducks, fetching all the sticks. There were some people around working on things, not a problem at all, everyone was friendly towards us and the dogs.. even when our super nosey dog wandered in one of the building soaking wet. Over all the place was peaceful, full of good surprises, and clean for a natural somewhat wild setting. We will be back for sure.

This place was so wonderful for my shy dog. She got to run, and sniff and have the space to be a dog. She pouted when we were about to leave. Looked from the car to me and sat down. And when I insisted we had to go, hung her head low as she reluctantly walked to the car. Wish I could give her what I was able to give her this morning every day.

Taylor’s Pond is awesome!! My dog had a blast swimming in the pond. The trail goes all the way around the pond which allows you to get your daily steps in too! Parking was super easy and it was very clean. Taylor’s pond is definitely an awesome spot and we will absolutely be back.
