Conveniently located approximately: 1.5 miles from the Johnson City Medical Center 2.2 miles from the Mountain Home VA Hospital 2.3 miles from ETSU 3.1 miles from downtown Johnson City Come relax, unwind, and listen to the birds chirping in my tranquil and peaceful setting while your pup(s) explore all the scents. If your pup is playful, there are plenty amenities and lots of toys to choose from. If your pup isn't and just wants to chill, there is a coolaroo dog bed to rest on. As a pup parent myself, I can appreciate the need to just chill and take in the beauty of nature while my pups burn off some energy from being cooped up in the house all day :) Hope you enjoy your time at Connie's Dogtopia as much as Finley, Fergus, Flynn, Bocephus, and I do! Next to the deckbox of toys, is a small beverage cart and storage with beverages hot (tea, apple cider, cocoa) and cold (bottled water) to enjoy. The neighbors leave their two Great Danes outside most of the time. They sometimes run up and down the fence line barking, so if your dog is reactive, this might be an issue. I have a 4' chain link fence and the neighbor has a 6' wooden fence, so the dogs are hidden. Overall, it’s a very peaceful and serene, lovely green space. We don’t use any chemicals or pesticides on the yard or garden.

Our Sniffspot is fully enclosed with no-climb, 4ft goat fencing and includes walking paths and a small creek for your pups to play in. Easy access from the main road with a small graveled parking space right in front of the Sniffspot entrance. As most properties in Mars Hill, the acreage is located on a hillside. Your dog can play near the creek at the bottom of the slope which is more flat and shaded or take a short hike along the path to the top and enjoy amazing mountain views while your pup plays in the pasture! We do have chickens, goats, sheep and pigs that remain in their separate fenced in pasture, but occasionally the chickens may roam in the parking area, so please be aware.

WE ARE OPEN post-Helene! The top pasture of this small farm is available for dogs to sniff and exercise. Sometimes there will be farm animal smells, horses and goats, and turkeys, rabbits and deer may also visit. The neighbors have a dog in their fenced yard but they're usually good about bringing him in if someone is in the sniff spot. There is a nice hill to tire everyone out, and a pretty view of my little farm. If you sit at the top and throw balls down the hill your dogs will get very tired! There is a picnic table, a swing, a table and chairs, a fire pit chairs, a splashing trough, a dog toy box, and a hose. You can pull right in through the double red gates and close them behind you, to leave my neighbors room to drive past. This will also ensure your dogs don't escape from the sniff spot when you open the car doors. There is a large horse water trough, feel free to dump it and refill it if you need to (and if you're strong enough!) Please have fun with the dog toys - if your dog tears one up just toss out the stuffing or pieces. That's just what dogs do!

I loved this area it’s so nice! My boys were tired after about 30 minutes because of all the activities! I will say those mosquitoes will eat you so make sure to wear your big spray or use what’s provided! It was worth a couple big bites though seeing how much fun these boys had, we will be back!!!!

First time: WE HAD SO MUCH FUN!! Connie goes so above and beyond… there was a lot of mud from the rainy days so she messaged me and she put down cardboard etc prior to our visit (which she did not have to do at all!). It’s all laid out well, she provides so many toys, and she is responsive. She even has a hose and wipes for cleaning up a dirty tired dog!! Will be visiting frequently!

My dachshund Henry had a good time running around in a large area. He definitely received the exercise he needed, and so did I, because he wanted company at all times.😅 I did move the large dog cots in front of the gate just in case he could escape under it. I don’t think he could have but he did keep running in that direction, so better safe than sorry. We will definitely be returning.

Our goldendoodle Remy loved Connie’s Dogtopia! We are in JC traveling and needed a place for our pup to release some energy. We also needed a private space since he is too young to be neutered yet.
