Have you ever been to a walking loop by a lake and thought to yourself, "wow I'd love to have this just to myself for a little bit!" well do yourself and your dogs a favor and visit this spot! HOLY. COW. ITS BEAUTIFUL!!!! My dogs loved exploring the pond and the path around it, the people on the property are so nice, and it was just so relaxing to be at. We went at 4 so we got to watch the sunset behind the hills around us 😍😍😍

It was our second time visiting Taylor’s Pond and it was as wonderful as the last time. It was me and two dogs, both dogs had zoomies after some time of being there because they were so excited by the scents. Different from the first time we visited, the weather was a bit chilly this time and even though the main attraction is the pond the dogs still had an amazing time. It was clean, calm, and with the right amount of distractions.

We are regulars at the pond, My large hound has the time of her life. In recent weeks the hosts have opened a dog boarding service which is completely visually blocked off at the front of the pond near the other house structures. I hope guests will clean up after their dogs as this continues to be very popular spot. Host has kept the price low since opening, despite that they could be charging much more. I wouldn't expect hosts to go around and clean up dog poop after every visit at this price (or ever, really. Picking up your own dog's waste is your responsibility). There are bags provided at the entrance. Please be courteous and utilize the trash receptacles and poop bags, so everyone can continue to enjoy it at an affordable rate. Thank you to the hosts for continuing to offer this amazing spot to dogs and their guardians.

Easy to find, just follow instructions on this website. Beautiful, very large pond with ducks and a dock. There are hammocks and swings. The dirt walking area goes around the pond, you can easily walk it several times. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely return often.

My husband and I had such a fun time here with our pup! All the tall eucalyptus trees and the duck filled pond made it so relaxing. There was plenty of space to sniff and explore for two hours. We enjoyed looping around the pond as it reminded us of how we used to hike off leash with our dog in the bay area. We did occasionally see some people walking on a trail on the side opposite to the entrance. We saw a couple with their dog but luckily our dog did not notice so it wasn't an issue. Will definitely be back!

So cool— dogs had fun, lots of room to run, swim, explore! Also fun things around the property — was kind of like summer camp! Easy to follow the directions to park and get into the spot. Note, there were two sets of adults and kids fishing so if your dog is human reacrive / aggressive check with the owner. Can’t wait to add this as a weekly treat!

Beautiful property! My dog absolutely loved it. The hosts were very welcoming and kind, and it was a very relaxing environment. One of my dogs has a prey drive and there were ducks in the pond, so I leashed her and took a few laps around while my other dog played in the water. Highly recommend!

Great spot, plenty of activities for people. Safe enough for the dogs, as long as you’re watching them. Our pups kept drinking the pond water and wanted to chase the ducks but they resisted the temptation! Will return at some point!

A hidden gem! This is a really fun spot with a lot of great little touches. Right in the heart of Poway but feels like you're way out in the countryside. Our doggies loved watching the ducks and our water lover went in for a swim. I even relaxed in the hammock for a little bit!
