The Sniffspot venue is a 3 acre fully fenced area that you and your dog will have unsupervised, exclusive use of for the time that you have booked. There, you will find fresh filtered (RO) water for your canine companions, an abundance of toys, Chuckit balls and launchers, including guest supplies and other listed amenities. The entire farm is 36 fenced acres. For anyone interested, I will gladly provide supervised walks around the entire property for additional psychological enrichment at no additional cost. Note: Palmhill is a working organic farm. There may be an occasional worker sighting, but absolutely no reason for any employee to ever interact with a guest or their dogs. My interests lie in offering an affordable, stress-free, large, safe, clean, offleash venue for guests and their canine companions. Thanks to an awesome group of guests who have been with us since first opening the venue, this has been a very rewarding experience. However, there have been, a few guests who have not been doing a very good job of cleaning up after their own dogs which makes it very unpleasant for the guests who come in to the venue next. I have many visitors who pick up dog droppings of other people's dogs and don't say a word, and also return toys and balls to the recepticles, but they shouldn't have to! I actually had a guest say to me once, "Oh, I thought you had people to do that!" No, everyone is responsible for cleaning up after themselves before they leave the field. That's how we keep the venue tidy and affordable! I don't think that's an unreasonable expectation. I've had to post a list of reminders at the venue, (thank you, Michele) which I feel terrible about because they're not relevant for the MAJOROTY of Palmhill's guests. It's just a handful of mostly newer guests who aren't being very team friendly. I've met some awesome people and even more so awesome dogs, but sorry to say, if you don't play fair, you will be asked not to come back to this venue. Everyone is welcome including, large groups, highly reactive dogs, special needs dogs- dogs with anxiety, physical handicaps, previous dog park trauma dogs, etc. We love them all and will do our best to make everyone feel welcome! Our home is in a quiet neighborhood, on a dead end street. Street parking is always available either right in front of our house or close by. You will have private access through a side gate to our backyard. Dogs love to run up and down the dirt slope in our yard to chase balls and expend their energy. The slope leads to our flat, lower dirt yard which is perfect for your dogs to run free and get their zoomies out! We do have a turf area under the play structure, as well as inside the enrichment area. We provide everything you could possibly need during your visit including lots of balls, Chuck It launchers for fetch, toys, water bowls, a hose, enrichment activities, plenty of seating, shade, a cot for the pups, towels, and more - all of which are included in the base price! Welcome to our fully fenced area! We have lots of shade under the tree and patio. There is street parking available and side gate access. Access to sprinklers is available as well. There is no visibility to the neighbors’ backyards or into our house, so you’ll have privacy. There is a good sized digging area available in the back corner by the tree- where there is dirt and leaves instead of grass. LEASH dogs while entering and leaving the Off-Leash area. Users must monitor and control their dogs at all times. Owners must clean up after their dogs. Aggressive dogs and dogs in heat are prohibited. Dogs must be removed from Off-Leash area if aggressive. No more than three dogs per family allowed at one time. Dogs must have current licenses and have no contagious diseases. Dog owner must remain in Off-Leash area with dog. Dogs must be under voice control at all times. Dog owner must have leash on hand at all times for each dog. Puppies under 4 months of age are not recommended. Spaying and neutering of dogs is recommended. Parents must closely supervise children. Parents must ask permission from the dog owner for children to play with a dog. Excessive barking is not allowed. Pet treats or food are not allowed. Fill any hole your dog digs. Dog training is not allowed in the leash-free area. Training may be allowed in other areas of the park by permit only. Contact the RB Center Director for more information. Exit the pen into the entrance way, close the door behind you and then place the leash on your dog. No food inside the pens. -no people food, no dog food -- nothing edible at all. Don't bring food in your pocket, purses or bags. Do not let your children come into the park with any kind of food in their hands. No rollerblades, roller skates, bicycles, skateboards, scooters or baby strollers in the pens. No smoking in the pens. Cigarettes are toxic to dogs. Please remove choker/pronged collars before entering the pens. Dog's teeth/paws can get caught in them while they are playing, causing injury. Children under 16 may not enter the pens unless accompanied by an adult.

Incredible! This was the perfect place to relax with the pup. The bungee line is located near a couple of comfy chairs, so I was able to relax while my dog sniffed around. The rest of the area is pretty rocky / hilly, so plan accordingly! They went out of their way to add extra touches like water and poop bags. Heads up for the road leading up to the property: it’s narrow with some blind corners.

Beautiful property with amazing views all around! This was perfect for our needs. Keep in mind that it is not fenced, but the bungee chord system worked out wonderfully for us and our long leashes! Thank you for providing water and sharing your space!

We had a blast here! As soon as we got here, the owner was waiting to let us in and handed us a bag of yummy and stinky treats for our dogs. So nice! Our dogs ran around so much and were able to chase the balls so far. My chihuahua rolled around to her heart's content. Owners provided lots of water buckets, toys, wet wipes, hand sanitizer, and waste bags. Our dogs are little so I pointed out a small hole in the fence, which the owners were very accommodating with and covered up right away. They even brought out a small water dish for our shorter dogs to reach, it was such a kind gesture! This place blew us away with it's beauty and cleanliness as well. We look forward to coming back!

My pups had a wonderful time running around and exploring. Caren is so sweet! Once again, she gave us a bag of yummy treats to take home. They have been having some technical difficulties with the app, so I recommend sending them a message to let them know you're coming, before showing up. Such wonderful people ❤️ We drive about 45 minutes just to get here, and it's absolutely worth it! This is one of the few places that always has plenty of clean water, there is even a small water dish for the little ones! And there is everything else you would need, from poop bags to bug spray. It's truly so convenient and stress free. We love it here!

I'll definitely be back. It's a drive for me from San Diego, but I love the large field so my Saluki can stretch out for a run, and that the field doesn't have troublesome stickers like goat head (hard for folks in our area to eradicate, so kudos to them). The hosts are lovely, attentive to making visits go smoothly.

Caren has a huge beautiful closed off space perfect for any dog. She provides fresh water, toys, and poop bags. Near the end of our time she guided us around the large fenced off property which our dog loved while being off leash. Highly recommend and we'll definitely be back!

I was looking for a large & open area that was fully fenced and private and this place was perfect! The host supplies so many toys and water as well as offered to bring out their dog and allow us to walk outside of the fenced area (we politely declined as we are not fully confident in our dogs’ training) but knowing we had the option was nice! We drove 30 minutes to this destination and felt it was totally worth it. Our two dogs had the best time running in the securely fenced-in space and playing with the toys provided. Fresh water and all the necessary amenities were thoughtfully left for us before our arrival, and Caren even greeted us with a large bag of high-quality all-natural single-ingredient treats from New Zealand! We felt very welcomed, and Caren even offered us a tour of the outer property (which is also fully fenced), enabling us to experiment with walking our dogs off-leash. (Our dogs decided to venture off, but they were safe and happy the whole time!) This was a fun and relaxing experience that the dogs and adults all thoroughly enjoyed. We look forward to returning to this safe and peaceful property again!

Great open field to just my mini schnauzers 3rd bday party. Had several dog friends come and they loved running and sniffing the field.
