Space includes a small wooded area within the fenced area. Bathroom available on site in the smaller barn. SMOKE FREE ZONE. Pick up after dogs, garbage bin provided. There are a few seniors visiting with mobility issues which is taken into consideration when there is poop left behind. You can always message me and let me know a general area and I can try to run out and pick it up between the next visit. There are some small gaps in the fence, so this is a great spot for large and medium sized dogs. Not a spot recommended for small dogs or severely reactive. Please keep dogs leashed until it is your time slot and are in the designated area and keep in mind you may pass another dog owner with their dog on a leash leaving or entering the spot. IF YOU CAN NOT CONTROL YOUR DOG ON A LEASH WHEN PASSING ANOTHER DOG PLEASE DO NOT BOOK THIS SPOT. Lots of seniors visit this spot and they may need some extra time to walk to their cars. For the most part spacing between guests has been good. Please read the essential rules the website has suggested in order to keep this a fun and safe place for dogs. Guests can be blocked from booking again if they do not respect the space or who are rude to me. Please check the spot descriptions for all details regarding animals on the property. SPRING AND SUMMER ANNOUNCEMENTS *We will be adding a doggy splash pad and a kiddie pool with fresh water as an add on option. *shade umbrellas are out of storage and I just have to wash them... so they are coming very soon. *I am in the works of creating a full enclosed cat park. So if you are also a cat person or know a cat person please share my other link to book through the Swimply App. Similar to sniff spot but the insurance coverage is slightly different for cats ahah. For people who don't have cats you can still book the space and visit my two friendly orange cats. The orange cats on the property are very people/kid friendly. Important - All prices are in USD and charges to the guest are in USD Our backyard is a mini overgrown Garry Oak forest in the city. With more than 25 trees including 2 Douglas Firs, a snowberry-blackberry thicket, boulders, and some fallen logs, it is like a mini oasis. Our trees are home to owls, squirrels, and Coopers Hawks in the summer months. We are actively working to remove invasive plants like English Ivy and blackberries from the wooded lot so please exercise caution as you move around the more overgrown areas. Good shoes are must. If you’d like more of a standard yard experience, the mulched upper garden bed area is flat and great for playing fetch. Plenty of good sticks, bones and dog toys. The rest of the yard has rocky, varied terrain and sloped in spots. Some rocks can be loose, so please exercise caution. Most of the back lot is a thicket of blackberry and snowberry bramble that we are slowly working to restore to a native plant meadow and maintain the paths. Best suited for adventurous folks, dogs that are not prey driven or escape artists.

I'm constantly trying to improve the yard and make it more and more beautiful every week! I'm very proud of all the different trees, flowers, paths, biomes in this one yard. I hope that you'll come and see for yourself. I'm fine with folks smoking "grass" just please no cigarettes. You can park your car in my driveway and there is a gate with signage leading you to the yard. You'll never have parking issues here. IMPORTANT: If your dog is sensitive/reactive to other dogs our neighbor has a dog on the other side of the fence that comes out every once and a while. It's a strong and tall fence. Most they can do is Boop noses between the boards. That being said the dog is very friendly and only wants to sniff and say hi. I have never heard him bark or be aggressive towards another dog. I just want to make a note as I know some people need this information. I have also noticed that the dog is usually inside during regular working hours. I have attached images of the dog and how much room is between the fence boards.

Eddie and Friends Dog Park, located in Friday Harbor, Washington, is a fully fenced enclosure where dogs can play off-leash. Dog handlers must supervise and control their dogs, remove any aggressive dogs, and ensure their pets have current licensing and vaccinations. Rules include picking up dog waste, limiting three dogs per handler, and no biking, smoking, alcohol, or food allowed. Small children are not recommended in the off-leash area.
