Our spot is named after our rescue chihuahua, Sami! I have a fully fenced backyard here in Lakewood, that has everything you and your dog will need for a fun & relaxing visit. It's a private oasis for both dogs and humans! There's a good mix of sun and shade from the large mature trees and the patio umbrella. We are a pesticide free/ organic yard, and I spray Wondercide cedar oil for flea and tick control once a month. Squirrels & birds like to visit our yard, and your dog is welcome to chase them away if they're into that! 🐿️ For the dogs, we will have: a water bowl, ice bowl, waste bags, an elevated cooling dog bed, and a splash pad that connects to the hose available for you to use. You can also just use our hose nozzle if "spray me directly in the mouth" is more of your dog's vibe! (Just please turn the water off at the spigot when not using it). I'll leave two towels out for drying off. For the humans: There are two rattan seats available along with a 6 seater patio set with umbrella. I'll have bug spray, sunblock, hand sanitizer, snacks, and bottled water available. Please feel free to use the bluetooth speaker on the table to play music! Please no digging in the gardens or the yard, and please throw all garbage and bagged dog waste into the large black trash bin near the garage. There is a chimenea and wood pile available for you to use weather permitting. Used dog water bowls go through our dishwasher in-between guests and I try to keep my yard and the toys as clean as possible. I will be inside but available, if you need anything during your visit!

Rent your own private dog park in Downtown Cleveland. Includes an indoor, climate controlled area* and an outdoor area. Located at Cleveland’s newest dog attraction, Bark Boarding! If you’d like to rent our adjacent space with a swimming pool, please contact us to make arrangements. The pool bay is not included with the standard SniffSpot rental. *The HVAC will keep the space more comfortable than outdoors, but it will be kept set around 55-60. * We use a chlorine based cleaner between each visit to keep our guests as safe as possible. This is less harsh than other options while being just as effective, food safe, and contact safe for pups and companions. The result is the area may smell like an indoor pool. Some guests may be sensitive to this smell.

Spacious yard to run and play. You can park on left side of driveway or in the street. Enter thru the gate on the side of the house on the side street. Sheds and fire pit are off limits but patio is fair game. If the hammock is out, feel free to kick back. Sit and relax while your dog/s plays. Please clean up after your pet in the designated can. Welcome to your pup’s new favorite spot! This fully fenced-in yard is perfect for small and large pups alike. You’re welcome to off-leash your dog in the Sniffspot, of course! Sit back and relax while your dog runs around in our fully fenced-in yard (6ft privacy fence). Our quiet neighborhood is the perfect playtime oasis for dogs of all sizes and behaviors. Our neighbors next to us do NOT have dogs, but occasionally, you may hear children playing. We have two dogs in the house, but they rarely bark, and we will try to have them upstairs when you are here. My husband is often working from home, but he will not leave the office or bother you when you are here. The deck and all dog amenities (toys, water bowl, poop bags, hose) are available for you to use. The water valve for the hose is behind the couch on the deck. We just ask that you turn off the hose, pick up poop, and fully latch the gate on your way out. Poop bags can go in the bucket on the stone bench. Parking is available on the street, or you can park on the parking pad. Enter and exit through the gate on the left side of the house (when facing the house from the street). Thanks so much! ☺️

This is a dog's paradise! Plenty of room to run free, dig and be happy! There's a large dirt mound in the back for those that love to hunt, dig or climb. Ample shade on 3/4 of an acre. We'll provide sticks, toys and a small kiddy pool for cooling off (initially covered so you can decide how wet they get). We look forward to making your dog's day! 4ft fence, perfect to play off leash. There is a dog pool if dogs like to splash around. Feel free to use the hose to fill up pool or dog bowl. The pool is stored in the brown garden box next to the hose. There is a small portable fence that can be used to wrap around the water garden feature to prevent the dogs from jumping in as that can get them muddy.

We have about an acre fully fenced and another little bit of wilderness in the back. There's tall trees for shade/sniffing and a big open field in the middle. My dog is reactive and this yard has been a great space for him to run free and we'd love to share it to give other dogs a chance to have a safe space to run too :)

Welcome to Tell Tail Farm! A private 2 acre-fully fenced yard with horses and chickens coming home in spring of 2025. We have an additional 3 acres of woods and a pond that is UNFENCED at the back of the property that is accessible through a gate that you are also welcome to explore. We get plenty of wild animals in our yard and have dogs of our own so there are PLENTY! Of smells for your pets to enjoy. All humans and pets will stay inside for your visit unless requested otherwise. When we get a lot of rain, a small pond forms in the back of the yard (pictured) but it’s not there in the extreme summer heat. I have a kiddy pool, water bowls and a hose outside that is usable in the spring, summer and fall. Toys, poop bags, chairs for humans, a nice patio to sit on, picnic table, and a fire pit patio with string lights all available for use! Hand sanitizer is also available and if it rains, we will open up the garage for a rain shelter with chairs! We do not use any pesticides or fertilizer on our property but will spray for ticks in the spring and summer. We cut the grass 1-2x per week but even more in the spring to keep the grass super short and our house sits on top of a hill for added exercise. Happy to accommodate, please let me know if you have any questions! **** please note, we do have minor fence construction happening currently. Since we’re adding a fenced area for chickens, it does NOT impact the integrity of the existing fence. Construction material may be on the property but nothing dangerous to dogs since this is my own dogs personal yard. Rules of the Lakewood Dog Park BEFORE ENTERING THE PARK 1. Keep dogs leashed when outside the fenced-in dog park area. Owners and dog handlers must keep a leash for each dog on their persons at all times. If your dog is involved in aggressive or unruly behavior, leash the dog and leave the dog park immediately. 2. Dogs may enter the dog park if accompanied at all times by an adult owner or dog handler. There is a limit of 3 dogs per adult owner or dog handler. 3. The dog park is not intended for infants and small children. For safety, children under age 7 are not permitted. Children ages 7 to 17 must be accompanied and closely supervised by parent or guardian. You will be asked to leave if children are not closely supervised. 4. Dogs must have current license and be up to date on all vaccines. Licenses, vaccine information and ID tags must be affixed to each dog’s collar and a collar must be worn by dogs at all times. 5. To prevent aggressive canine behavior, human and dog food of any kind are prohibited. 6. Dogs must be at least 4 months old to enter. Dogs under 25 pounds may use the small-dog area. 7. Toys, baby equipment and sports equipment should not be brought into the dog park. Firearms and weapons are prohibited. 8. Dogs in heat or pregnant may not enter the dog park. 9. Securely close each entrance and exit gate before opening the next gate. WHILE INSIDE THE DOG PARK 10. Owners and dog handlers must be within the fenced-in area and with their dogs at all times. 11. Owners and dog handlers must have their dogs in sight and be in control of their dogs at all times. All humans and dogs engaged in altercations or aggression will be asked to leave. Cooperation between owners and dog handlers is expected. 12. Always clean up after your dogs. Be watchful of your dogs, and pick up and dispose of fecal waste. Biodegradable waste bags, tools and trash receptacles are normally provided. Please leave the park as clean as, or cleaner than, it was when you arrived. Please do not leave litter or cigarette butts. 13. Please do not use profane language in the dog park. Civility and cooperation are expected. 14. Owners and dog handlers are responsible and liable for all damage or injury inflicted by their dogs. VIOLATIONS OF THESE RULES MAY RESULT IN PROSECUTION AND A PARK BAN (L.C.O. 905.98, .99).

Dogs must be healthy, fully immunized, dewormed, licensed as set forth in Section 618.08, and wearing ID tags as set forth in Section 618.095. e. Puppies under four months old are prohibited. f. Female dogs in heat and non-neutered male dogs are prohibited. g. Dogs that are classified as potential nuisance dogs, dangerous dogs or vicious dogs are prohibited. h. Dogs must be leashed prior to and upon leaving the fenced area, and owners must have a leash visible at all times while the dog is off leash in the fenced area. i. Dogs must never be left unattended or out of owner's sight. j. Owners of dogs using the fenced area must remain within the fenced area at all times. k. Dogs must be removed by their owners immediately at the first sign of aggressive behavior toward people or other dogs. l. Owners are legally responsible for their dogs and any injuries caused by their dogs. m. Owners are required to clean up and dispose of all waste of their dogs. n. No food, smoking, treats or chew items are allowed inside the fenced area. o. Failure to comply with the posted rules and regulations may result in expulsion from the park.

DOG PARK RULES • Only pass holders and their approved dog(s) are allowed to use Barkwood. Please do not bring guest dogs. Dog park memberships/fobs are not transferable. • Full current immunizations (rabies, DHLPP or DAPPL) of all dogs are required. • Dogs must be healthy and free of parasites, fleas, contagious conditions or disease. No dogs in heat. • Users of Barkwood do so at their own risk. All dogs must wear a collar (no spiked, pronged or pinched collars.) • Dog owners/handlers/visitors are responsible and strictly liable for any damage or injury caused by their dog(s.) • Dog owners/handlers/visitors are responsible for properly using elements provided in Barkwood, including, but not limited to fencing, gates, benches, fountains, etc. and are responsible for the cost of any damages. • Dog owners/handlers are required to remove and properly dispose of all animal waste immediately. • Dog owners/handlers are required to be present and attend to their dog(s) at all times. • Dog owners/handlers must limit their use of electronic devices so that the use does not interfere with their ability to actively monitor dog’s behavior. • Dog owners must be in possession of a leash at all times. Dogs must be on a leash to and from the park entrance gates. • Professional dog trainers are not permitted to use Barkwood for training purposes. • Puppies under six (6) months of age are not allowed. • Only dogs weighing 30 pounds are allowed in the “large dog area.” • Dog handlers must be 16 years of age or older to use Barkwood. Children under the age of 16 are not allowed in the dog park unless accompanied by an adult. • A maximum of two (2) dogs per owner/handler is allowed at one (1) time. • No smoking of any kind, no food (people or dog) or glass containers allowed inside Barkwood. • Dogs showing any signs of aggression must leave the park. Aggressive dogs are not permitted. • In an emergency, call 911.
