This spot is a 1/2 acre rough pasture with a bench, fruit trees, a tree swing and woods surrounded by greenbelt. It is fully fenced and gated although if your dog is small and escape-minded it may do so because it is wire field fence, not board fence. Please park in front of the garage and keep your dog leashed until you reach the pasture area at the back of the property. Enjoy!

Mostly quiet neighborhood where you can feel safe to let your dog run and dig. Large playground tunnel equipment for your doggy to play in! Don't let the darkness defeat you taking your canine out to play! Installed 3 street lights to keep the early darkness at bay. Light timer switch is on the left inside the dog two way gate. Lights take a couple minutes to get fully bright. Now you can play with your dog from 6am to 9pm. Enjoy this private area that you can let your dog off leash without having to worry about anyone interrupting your time with your dog. Picnic table with cover. Water dish, poop bags, waste bin, sticks and balls with a chuck it at entrance. Coordinate with a friend and meet here to let your dogs play together while you catch up. Beautiful sloped pasture with some woods at the lower end. 1.5 acres. If desired, you can drive right into the pasture and secure the gate behind you before letting your dog(s) loose. It changes by the season. In summer, the grass grows tall and you can enjoy the shade of alders in the lower portion. A seasonal creek runs through it in winter and spring. Your dog may find the scent of deer where they've bedded down at night, though it's unlikely that any will be present for your visit. You will see that I've planted and protected some fruit trees and native plants here and there. A sheltered area allows you to sit in the shade or out of the rain, and that's where you'll also find most amenities, such as toys and water. Access: There are two driveways onto the property. Use the north entry, with the "Pepper's Pasture" sign. After driving up that driveway, you'll see a "Sniffspot" sign on the gate into the pasture. Construction/site work: in spring of '25, you'll see that we are building beside the driveway that leads to the sniffspot. In our fully fenced, gently rolling meadow there is plenty of room to run, chase frisbees and balls, dip paws in the pup-pool, and sniff around for the scents of nature. For humans, there is a cozy shelter with seating, a bistro table, and the entertainment of a frisbee "goal". There's shade from a large fir, in the meadow, as well as shade from the woods, on the south side. Fencing is at least 4 feet high, all around. It has a vision-block screen, a 4.8’ top wire, plus double fencing, on the side with neighbor dogs. If the neighbor's Goldens are out, they will friendly bark, and bark. They really want to come over and play. Surrounding Area: There are two private yards (one with an enclosed, screened chicken run, and one with friendly dogs); deep woods on the South side; and an incredible mountain view, over more meadow, on the West side. Sunsets from here are awe-inspiring! Parking: There is room for two vehicles to park near the gate the Meadow. Please park only on gravel and do not drive on the lawn near the meadow. If there are more than two vehicles in your party, please park up the hill in the gravel near the large, 4-car garage. LIMIT of 4 VEHICLES per reservation, unless organized in advance with us. There are four easy-closing gates in the fence, that are generally left open for wildlife passage. We will make every effort to have the gates closed before you arrive, but know that you're responsible for seeing that all 4 gates are closed before you unleash your pups. If you bring kids, you're also responsible for keeping them in the gates :D We hope you visit soon and come back often!

**NEW** Sniffspot 2 We now have two spots available; we’ve opened a new one we are calling “Spot #2” that is located in the front pasture. This space should experience far less standing water and mud during the winter months. It also features a covered area and picnic table for your use. It is closer to May Valley so does have more road noise. If your pup likes to splash, feel free to use “Spot #1” as usual. If you’d prefer a cleaner experience, Spot #2 should provide that. There’s no difference in booking, just that you can pick which spot you’d like. We may at times need to close one or the other due to standing water or maintenance, but there should always be one spot open. We are working to ensure all amenities of spot 1 are available. Spot 1 *fall/winter update* We are working to get the heavy mud under control, this may take a few weeks. Please bring boots and be prepared for dirty dogs. We have various levels of flooding during the winter; the spot has is anticipated to have mud and large puddles. At times we may need to close the spot due to excessive flooding (no dry land!).  Please reach out if you have questions about how much water is in the spot.  Keep in mind we also have increased migratory waterfowl in the pasture adjacent. 1 acre of flat field in a beautiful setting. One large tree in the corner. Fully fenced approx 4.5’ with predator fencing. We have motion lights that come on at night, not super bright but makes the spot visible during early night winters. Boarded by two, large pastures, a private road with limited use and our barn. Occasionally during the wet months flocks of geese/ducks may land in the wetlands adjacent. We have goats, turkeys, geese, ducks and chickens but they are on the other side of the property and should not be seen/heard. We have two dogs, Veles and Flora, that will be on the other side of the property or in the house. There is a covered bench and trash can in the spot, fresh water is also available. An outdoor bathroom is available for use, see map. When using the bathroom please keep your pup in your car as it is near our goats and free range chickens. A nice half acre corner of our 10 acres set aside for our puppy friends! We have included everything we know our puppy friends love to play with. There is a large piece of playground equipment for fun times, multi-level platforms with two ramps and a tunnel. We have miscellaneous moveable agility equipment available as well as water park stuff like splash pads and kiddie pools. And if that's not enough we also have a Nerf ball launcher as well as a chuckit. There is a dog Hotel on site. But the yards cannot see each other generally. We also have some horses here and we have neighbors who have cows. So there's lots of interesting things to look at here. Right down the road is an adorable town of Wilkinson. There are two restaurants in town that are really fun to order from. While here you can order from Carlson block Pizza, who got Top Knots in the county as being one of the best pizza places. Or check out the Simple Goodness Sisters Deli. They have amazing craft and mock cocktails available along with panini sandwiches and a variety of other things. Stop by and bring them with you so that you can snack and play with your pup or order while you're here and pick them up on your way home so that you have dinner in the car.

2 acres with 5 foot chain link fence surrounded by forest and wetlands. This offers a distraction-free place for your dogs to get their zoomies on! You get both shade and sun, with grass, dirt, wood chips, (and a bit of mud in some spots during the rainy season). We are in the country, so our park doesn't share a fence line with neighbors. You won't see any other dogs. There could be far away dog barks from a few blocks over, but nothing up close. We don't use toxic sprays, so rest assured it's a natural and safe place to romp and play in private. The 2 acres has mature trees throughout and is mowed during the growing season. It's perfect for throwing tennis balls and getting lots of good sniffs in. You will be able to see your dog at all times (unless he/she is hiding behind a tree.) If you add "The Woods" extra (see below) detailed instructions will be within the Sniffspot park, on the SouthEast fence next to the big red bow.

Magical Mossy Forest Sniffspot is a large mystical woodland adventure for dogs in Redmond on the way to Carnation. Boots are recommended in the winter rain. MMF is preferred by puppies, dogs, people, adults and kids alike because it has potable water, power, picnic tables, chairs, several firepits, lit portapotties, 3 swing sets, 3 slides, monkey bars, 3 Forts, a log bridge to cross over Little Ames Creek for when the creek is flowing, a doggy playground, lots of picturesque moss, lighted parking lot, woodchip trails and many footpaths over 5 forested moss covered acres. Parking is near the road, separated by 50 ft of woods, so we suggest that all our doggy friends be leashed until they are on the trails with you. Please leash your dog until into the forest away from the parking area, after that Bob's Your Uncle! Watch kids and dogs in the parking area near the road, and at Ames Creek. A secluded place to dork out and have fun, enjoying a natural Pacific rainforest. Note that the creek is dry in midsummer until the fall and winter rains kick in. Boots are recommended in the fall and winter. Find a map of the main trails in a photo on our MMF Sniffspot site. There are lots of foot trails through the understory ferns. The log bridge can be used to cross Ames Creek, or you can ford it to discover the rest of Magical Mossy Forest Sniffspot. Please pack out doggy bags with you because there is no garbage pickup here, please leave no trace. If there is a downpour and you want to wait it out there is a dry shed in the parking area. Access to power helps keep your batteries charged. Please carry your toilet paper (sorry it walks away). The portapotties are cleaned once a week. CASHLESS sales at the store please. Malaney Creek Farm is a 124 acre conservation farm comprised of fields, forest and wetlands. 3+ miles of private trails, open grassy fields. Trails are marked to keep you pointed in the right direction. Picnic tables, covered areas to duck out of the weather and portable restroom with hand sanitizer. Your sniffspot staging area is located in what we call our "Cascara" campsite. Covered picnic table, adirondack chairs, firepit and a big green grassy field. This spot is a central location near the portable restroom, easy drive in access, and a base location for exploring the trail network. Our trail system has been a labor of love. We enjoy providing unique experiences and highlighting the natural beauty of the forest and wetlands on the property. Once home to giant cedar trees the property was purchased by the Great Northern Railway in the late 1800's. A railroad system was built here and the giant cedars logged and milled onsite. You wouldn't be able to tell that now as the forest is doing a wonderful job of repairing itself. We do have a few artifacts scattered about that have been found that you will see on your walks. A large concrete trestle base, railway beams, rail spikes and misc metal items from the trains and equipment. Most of our trails accommodate hiking and mountain bikes (yes E-bikes are allowed ;), however the hiking only trails are really evolving. Our new wetlands trail is a quick link between Casacara and the Beargrass island trail. It is foot traffic only and features hand hewn cedar bridges made from cedar logs left behind by the logging operation over 100 years ago! Log rounds to hop across wet areas and places to stop and soak in the quiet. There is a diverse landscape of rare native plants on this hike and foraging opportunities abound! Fiddle head ferns, chicken of the woods and more! Our most prized flora is a large patch of Labrador Tea. A very rare species of plant related to the rhododendron that native american peoples used as a medicinal healing tea. So come out and explore! Bring appropriate footwear, your furry hiking buddies, a bottled water, and a camera. We look forward to hosting you! ***Egg/ treat stand up and running!*** Fully fenced pasture with forest, trails, open pasture, canopy with chairs, bench, and a small pup pool. Everything you could need for a fun day out! Hose available for dirty dogs and water fun. NEW Several types of sprinklers are available for playtime. Bench, Canopy with chairs and table recently added too! Trash can, dog bag dispenser, sanitizer, bowls, and toy bin ready for use! Parking is on the grass behind shop with welcome sign. Main gate will be left open for easy access. We offer five acres of partially mowed fields and a natural wooded area. There is a small pond and access to South Prairie Creek. The creek has a variable current, so it may be best for larger dogs. The pond would be ideal for smaller dogs who aren't strong swimmers. Trails began as deer/elk trails but have been improved. There are some small logs and rocks here and there to step over so sturdy shoes are recommended. The leaves that cover the trails in the fall may be a little slippery, so take care.

We are an active alpaca and sheep farm in Auburn. As owners of reactive dogs in the past we know how important it is to have a place to bring your dog to run around! We hope that a calm and large area as well as farm animal sightings will make you love the farm as much as we do! Please be aware there will be people walking around randomly, we are an active farm and as we enter spring we are having babies that need around the clock care! If your dog is extremely reactive please message me and i’m sure we can figure something out for you. Also there is an area in the fencing of our sniff spot that is big enough for some dogs to fit through. Thank you and please let me know if you questions.
