55Nice big spot, completely fenced, entrance gate it’s not complete secure if you have scape artist, horses 🐴 on sight, host is a dog owner so his pups are close to the entrance locked in their kennels the whole time, they barked from time to time but my dogs didn’t care after a while.
It’s a bit far from me but I’ll definitely try to go back sometime soon. Yesenia L.

55Volta Farms is an amazing spot for your fur friend, especially an active breed. We stopped here on our way to SoCal with our Vizsla. It’s a great open field for you dog to run around freely (off-leash), chase birds and stretch. We will be stopping here on all future trips when we take the I-5. Daniela G.

55Sterlyng's property is huge and impeccably maintained, offering a serene stroll through the vines. My pup had a blast with multiple zoomies! Sterlyng graciously met us beforehand, providing clear instructions about the boundaries. The grass was neatly trimmed for our visit. While there were some foxtails in certain areas, the majority of the property was well-maintained and watered, ensuring a safe environment. We stuck to the well-kept sections to avoid any issues. We had the place to ourselves, allowing for peaceful walks and excellent recall practice for my pup amidst the vines and pathways. Highly recommended for any dog owner looking for a safe and enjoyable environment for their canine companion. We will definitely visit again. Aditi S.

55This spot gets 5 stars due to location. No joke this is probably the best sniff spot in driving distance from the Bay Area. Huge pros are the variety of things to do and the pool, which was so affordable and we were given some towels and goodies for our time there. My dog loved the treats. Honestly the pool alone as an experience makes the spot a win.
Some cons/ things to be aware of: there are foxtails of several varieties along the borders of the property especially. In a good note they seem either too young (at the time) or too old and long dead to really pose an issue. Which was good. The spot was well mowed in some areas where they seemed to exist before hand. There was construction on the property which was out of the way and my dog was sketched out by at first, as well as cars driving through the property. This isn’t an issue for me but I want to point it out as that can be an issue for some dogs. There are dogs able to be heard from the neighbors, and chickens visible from the pool. The space is unfenced and against a road- again, not a problem for my dog but just something to be aware of for another dog. The space is crowded and it’s probably not the most amazing for a dog who wants to do distance fetching, but for mine who just wants to dash down the grape plants and sniff a bit it was a great hit. There are rocks on the property along a gravel road that could be swallowed if you’re got a rock eating lab, and some dog poop that was left behind (though idk what Sniffspot doesn’t have that. We made sure to pack out what we found). My dog did roll around in the short grass by the road and got covered head to tail in burrs- but as long as you don’t also have a dog who’s a drama queen about getting into the car after having fun, this probably won’t be an issue.
All in all my dog had a fantastic time, and the spot is literally the best thing out there for the right dog. Jes K.
