A beautiful fenced-in 5 acre parcel with hills, a few trees, areas of short and tall grass. Dogs absolutely love it here. Occasionally we’ll see wild turkeys and a few deer (and a gopher or squirrel here and there) but otherwise a dog roaming paradise. Easy to pull in and park (near the empty barn) and there are several shady spots around property. I have a dog bowl, some treats and a few balls but also acquiring some more toys. My WiFi extends to a few areas outside the house but cell reception is fine here.

Approximately 5 acres of sloping, pasture-like land located at the top of a hill. This upper portion is available to run your dog. We share the land with turkeys, foxes, raccoons, possums, deer, coyotes, and bobcats. These lovable wildlife are generally only out at dawn, dusk, and after dark. Your dog must be well-behaved and listen to your commands not to chase these residents. We also have beehives back in the trees and ask that you and your dogs avoid this area for your safety and the safety of the bees. While the frontage is fenced, it is livestock fencing so small dogs can escape. If your dog does not listen to commands and is prone to be an escape artist, this may not be the spot for them. During dry season there are large cracks in the ground so be cautious. Ticks can also be prevalent during certain times of the year, so be sure to check yourself and your pup after a visit. Several neighboring properties have dogs in their fenced yards.

I have a large space that I am sure a dog will love to run in. In the winter, post rain, it can get VERY muddy back there. Years of dogs running around has torn up a lot of the ground cover and it's now just dirt, which becomes mud in the winter. In the summer, the "grass" (more weeds than actual grass) gets very dry. There are some burrs due to the dryness so if your dog has longer fur they might get some attached to them. I do my best to weed the weeds that produce them, but there still might be some. It's a fairly large open space with a longer run on the side. Also, I want to note that in the back of the property the fence is lower, around 4/4.5 feet (the rest of the yard is at least 6 feet), so if your dog is a good jumper, this could be an issue. While there are no other animals on the property, our peaceful neighbors include a herd of sheep, and the adjacent lot boasts a large, empty barn. You’ll find some grassy patches, and during the winter, the park transforms into a lush, green paradise. Country Serenity is a 1/2 acre fully fenced non-irrigated pasture which is on our 20 acre farm. Note: Current conditions are dry and the spot is 90% covered with medium bark to keep down the late season weeds. Please come prepared for these conditions. Note: On weekends during our olive harvest season (late October to early December) there will be workers in the orchard visible from the spot from time to time, quite a way away. Also, there may be cars parked near the spot parking area but these are our workers. Hours of operation are generally 7:30 am-7:30 pm, but no lighting is provided so hours fluctuate with the dawn and dusk. Adjacent to the dog park is a barn with 2 friendly dwarf goats and some chickens. Enjoy the views of our olive orchard, a seasonal pond and 360 degree panorama of beautiful farmland right from the park. Please be aware that this is a working farm in an agricultural area so you may see and hear farm equipment and crop dusters in the vicinity. Let us know if you want to visit our farm store before or after your visit. We have our Gold Medal winning Frate Sole Olive oil and Copper Hill balsamic vinegar, local Woodland farmers like us. The ultimate dog escape! A dreamy lake surrounded by rolling hills! Your dogs can experience wild foul, fish and cattle or spend their time time swimming away at the lake! There is a picnic table for your stuff and a great combination of sun and shade surrounding the lake! We recently added a 1.2 mile trail around our property. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do! Please note, It is a little a walk to get down to our lake and the lake does not have any fencing. There are also cows that roam in the same field. The cows are harmless, but all fences must be shut while going in and out of the field. Please ignore the cows and they will ignore you. Our house is the only house on the right side of the road. Please do not stop/disturb the first houses on the left side of the driveway. Keep coming down our driveway and park near the light blue green house on the right. If you’re wondering if we test for toxic blue green algae, the answer is yes! The test was negative! Please see our pictures for confirmation of a negative test!
