Pre-made ATV trails, creeks, wetlands and a small river await exploring by you and your pup(s) while immersed in solitude and nature. We welcome you to our little peace of heaven backing up to the national watershed reserves and game-land. We offer parking on the side of our yard away from the house where you'll have access to 4+ acres of woods within our property, and trail entrances to the public water-shed/game-lands. ******We only open our Sniffspot during non-hunting seasons for safety purposes. ****** Our family has been hiking these same trails for 10+ years, and over 100's of times with our pups. We have been blessed with its wonderous beauty and the pure exhilaration our furry babies get being out there, doing what they love. We are happy to share our little peace of heaven with all the pups and kahu of the world who treasure the joy of running free in the forest.

***Naturally treat our yard in the summer so that our guests can enjoy As a rescuer, I totally understand some dogs just can't do social (myself, most of the time too), so dog park is a No. SniffSpot is an option for those special pooches. Quiet private Oasis for guests, private 100% fenced yard, sloped grass yard with 3 patio area. A lot to sniff, a lot of stairs to work out those legs. Very clean yard since I pick up after my own dogs daily. You can sit and relax or enjoy your book or bring a date. Squirrels and birds will make your visit more exciting. We're only 3 mins from Fenton, 2 mins from Downtown Cary. ***in the summer we add a baby doggie pool, fresh water, right before booking. Bring a towel if your baby loves water*** We provide a shop fan in the summer, our yard doesn't feel too hot 6-9 pm in summer is good time to come play Please msg us if you don't see any availability 😀

We appreciate your understanding and patience during this necessary temporary break**** Over 1 acre of pasture and field area- fully fenced with 6-8ft view friendly fencing. Located in the quiet, serene country of Orange County. Surrounded by Duke Forest and Triangle Land Conservancy forest on either side. Immediately adjacent to Brumley Forest south lot which contains over 600+ acres with trails for additional activities. Outside faucet with clean, potable water available along with several kiddie pools, benches, and playground equipment for the two-legged kids. We are out in the country so bug spray is always recommended. We are a Safe Space property. Please reach out with any questions or for additional information.

Dog Park Rules When using the dog parks please follow these rules of behavior: • Dog owners must be 12 years or older or be supervised by an adult at all times while in park • Dogs must be at least 6 months old • Dogs must be leashed while entering and exiting the park • Dog owners must have leash in hand at all times • Dogs must be under voice control at all times while in the park • Dog owners must be in the park and within view of their dogs while the dogs are using the park • Dog feces must be cleaned up by owners • Dog owners must fill in any holes created by their dogs • Dogs must be removed from the dog park at the first sign of aggression • Female dogs in heat are prohibited from the park Please remember that the our dog parks are the Town’s only leash-free dog run area. Dogs using all other parks, trails, greenways, or open space areas must be on a maximum 6-foot leash. In addition, dogs are prohibited from entering athletic fields.

Got a big, energetic dog who needs a lot of space to run? You’ve found it! We are a haven for dogs with Strong Opinions about things! 🤗 Doesn’t love people? Come on over! Hates other pets? That’s cool! Lives to chase and eat squirrels and moles? We’re overrun, you do you! We are blessed with 12 gorgeous acres in the pasture. We also have plenty of wildlife—depending on how rambunctious your dog might be, you may see otters, soft shelled turtles, tortoises, wood ducks, raccoons, armadillos, rabbits, and squirrels. We also have a plentiful supply of water birds—herons, egrets, and more. Parking is on the left side of the road next to the fence. Please bring your own scoop and poop bags, water,and chairs. PLEASE NOTE: We are specifically requesting that you do NOT come to our farm to “check us out” WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT. Please respect that is also our home, and we are closed to anyone who doesn’t have an appointment. For our security and the safety of our guests and their dogs, we have surveillance cameras in use at all our entrances.

Hidden River Farm is a 40 plus acre paradise for humans and dogs. We opened our organic orchard 6 years ago and it operates annually from June to October. So we have decided to try to open it up for use year around if possible. We welcome folks to bring their dogs out to run, retrieve, train or just play for awhile to get the energy out. There is an abundance of land. We offer a picnic area with table and chairs. Both tables offer umbrellas for shade if needed. We have water spigots so that the dogs can have clean drinking water. We also are breeders of Champion Labrador Retrievers. We have chickens, ducks, donkeys, horse and more. We are a working farm that believes sharing is a great thing these days.

Our little slice of heaven is certified a National Wildlife Refuge. We have a large variety of birds and pollinators. We have a walking/bike riding trail, dog sensory gardens, an orchard to pick fruit from when in season, splash pools, agility equipment, horses next door to get to know, meadows to play in and sometimes there are foster puppies to meet. We have lots of spaces for humans to enjoy too; ie firepit ara with lots of seating, a couple picnic tables and various other seating for conversation and gathering.

The “spot” becomes unavailable for everyone when you reserve it. Only one person “rents” the space at a time! Sniffspot automatically builds in a 30 min buffer between sessions as well so there is no chance of overlap.

{Rules,"For the safety and comfort of all animals and handlers, please follow these Rules of Conduct: Hours: Dawn to Dusk • Dogs must wear a collar with current rabies and ID tags and be current on all required vaccinations. • Dogs must be at least 6 months old. • Dogs in heat are prohibited. • Dogs must be on a maximum 6-foot leash prior to entering and upon leaving the facility. • Dogs must be within sight and under voice control of owner at all times. • Dogs showing aggression must be immediately removed. • Owners must collect and dispose of all dog waste. • Owners must remove their dogs from the facility during periods of general park maintenance o Dog waste stations are cleaned and trash receptacles are emptied daily between 8 am and 10 am. o The park will be closed for approximately 30 minutes to allow maintenance staff to safely perform these duties. • Animals other than dogs are prohibited. • Dogs are not allowed to dig. 10 acres bordered by active electric fenced in cow and horse pasture. Lower property offers lake views and animal access from shore (people are not allowed to wade). 5+ acres are mowed, and an additional 2+ acres of trails and foot paths. Quiet and serene location far from roadways or neighbors. Let your dog run leash free or bring your GPS, wireless electric fencing system with you, and relax while your dog roams and discovers. We are animal friendly, but dogs will be inside or gone, and cats will either be inside or find trees while your pet enjoys the space. We do have a pool that is not dog friendly.
