55Big, open area. Everything was clean. Would recommend and would 100% come again if I’m in the area. There was water in the ditch which my dog loved, so would remember to bring towels, just in case.
Nala did NOT want to leave, we had to spend a few minutes coaxing her out of the property and then into the car. Jennifer G.

55My dogs loved it. Lots of space for my multiple dog household to enjoy. They were muddy but not filthy by the end of the hour.
May not be suitable for dogs obsessed with chickens. Also there was a polite neighbor dog out in nearby yard- not a problem for my dogs but be aware if you have a dog-reactive dog.Kaysha R.

55Great spot! Lots of room to run and fully fenced. There were two large dogs that came up against the fence and watched, but didn’t bark. Also cows across the street. Our pups drank lots of water from the ditches, but hopefully will be ok!Leana M.

55Gosh! Linda’s Place is amazing. I wish we booked for a half more hour. There’s a nice little stream the dogs could play in. Now my dogs aren’t scared of water. They absolutely loved it and were tired afterwards. We will definitely visit again. Rafael D.

55Yoshi had so much fun here! Very secure fence, a stock tank full of clean dog water, and lots of fun things to explore and sniff. It was also a great place to practice recall with distractions. Yoshi loved saying hi to the chickens, and wading in the ditch, sniffing and marking as many trees as he could, and of course playing fetch. He may have had to have a bath the moment he got home, but we can’t wait to visit again! Jessica I.

55This spot was so much fun! Our pups loved playing in the different areas-- running in the grass, sniffing for rodents in the dry area in back, and splashing in the water. The neighbor dog calmly watched us from the fenceline for a bit, it didn't bother my pup who is sometimes dog reactive. Great spot close to the Clackamas river, will definitely be back!Diana H.

55This is definitely one of our favorite spots! It's a lovely property, peaceful, quiet, clean. Huge well tended field, plus a lovely treed area, to run around, explore and sniff. There are occasionally neighbor dogs outside in a couple properties on the other side of a fence. These dogs are friendly and chill. For me and Niko it's a bonus! Socialization opportunity! Nicole P.

55Karen & Michael’s place was really beautiful and peaceful. Michael met us when we got there and showed us the amenities and pointed the way to the river. The field offers a ton of space for fetch and the river is very easy to get to. Easily one of my favorite sniff spots! Friendly people and a gorgeous, quiet spot. Thank you! Jen W.

FAQ about our New Plymouth dog fields
Are dog fields safe?
If you are looking for an adventure, but also looking for safety, Sniffspot dog fields are a great option. While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, distracted dog owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private space for just you and doggy friends you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). Especially for training, privacy is ideal. Contrary to public dog parks, all Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog for off leash exercise or outdoor training. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars, while public dog parks often do not even have verified reviews. All payment is done securely online by credit card in a few simple clicks.
All park rental information is available online. Start by filtering parks by fencing, size and distractions, to find a private spot that works for your dog. If your dog has poor recall, you can visit one of our secure fields. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our dog fields where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can review the details of the listing to make sure it works as your desired activity space, for example, safe dog exercise, dog training, a stress-free adventure with your furry friend or even a puppy event. You can even check the park amenities chart for amenities such as indoor training facilities, agility field, synthetic turf, exercise balls or field parking availability in advance. If inclement weather is an issue or poor field conditions, you can reschedule your visit up to 2 hours in advance.
What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot dog field?
We require that all four-legged friends have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Make sure to check host rules before visiting to ensure, for instance, that you are following allowable sports activities rules and any special events rules.
Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot field at the same time as me?
No. Facility rentals are for private play time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the area during visits, so this is perfect for a private adventure for you and your doggie friends, and perhaps a human friend. Hosts understand that many guests have dogs in training and are nervous owners. So when you book a Sniffspot dog field you have the entire private spot to yourself. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between time slots so you will not run into other guest dogs or a previous person when coming or leaving in the field parking area. Some hosts may have multiple fields, but there is always a buffer between fields.
How much do Sniffspot fields cost?
Dog fields in the New Plymouth area range from $5.0 and $5.0. The least expensive dog field is Heron's Creek in Maltby. The most expensive dog field is Heron's Creek in Maltby. Each host sets their own price, so you can check the price on the specific Sniffspot dog park listing.
