Bring your pups to this shaded and sunny lakeside spot! Feel free to use the chairs outside or table on the back deck. There are two water spigots…one at the back of the house and one down closer by the lake! There is also a trash can at the back of the house you can use. Humans are not allowed to swim in the lake, but dogs are welcome to play and jump. If you would like to use the canoe, that is an add-on. If you would like to go fishing (with your own equipment), that is an add-on as well.

Let your furbaby adventure safely in our fully fenced back yard with lots of different ground textures, plants to sniff, and a water hose to play with! Some dog toys provided, but feel free to bring your own! Please be sure to pick up after your dog.

Open Fridays-Sundays. Must make sure gate is closed behind you to ensure my personal dogs are safe from getting out.

Welcome to Louie's Oasis! .25 acres of space for your pups to explore. Our backyard offers a flat area of grass, along with a wooded area with pine straw. The wooded area of our backyard is on an incline. This area offers plenty of shade for your pups to sniff and explore, or get in some exercise by running up and down! We have chairs, a bucket of dog toys, and a water bowl for you to utilize during your visit. We have two seating areas, one or the other is generally in the shade depending on the time of day. Feel free to move chairs around to shaded areas! You can park in our driveway, or in the parking spaces directly across the street. There is an elementary school across the street that has plenty of parking spaces on the weekends when school is not in session.

There's lots of room here for activity—whether your fur-babies like to roam and sniff all the smells, find and chew on endless sticks, play long distance fetch (with our handy chuck-it), or just get some serious exercise running at full speed up and down the hill. We have two large breed dogs ourselves (an Australian Shepherd and a Great Pyrenees) and this yard is their happy place! Our Pyr is a rescue who can't be off leash or go to dog parks, so our property is the only space where he's free to be himself. Kick back and relax while your dog gets to run wild through the woods. We are a historic stone house set on a National Wildlife Habitat. A little slice of nature, right in the city! We welcome groups, as long as all dogs are appropriately accounted for. Bring a picnic, grab a slice at Fellini's down the street, feel free to hang while your dog plays! Our space is generally quiet and very private. FYI: Yard is heavily wooded, and at a steep incline. Sturdy shoes are recommend if you'd like to join your dog up the hill. Think of it like a fully fenced, off-leash nature hike! SUMMER: It's a wooded property and the bugs are out! We spray the yard with cedar and garlic oils to try and help keep the mosquitoes at bay. We also always provide bug spray for you to use (that is safe for you and your dog).

My personal fenced-in yard is accessible without any stairs and is ideal for furry friends of all ages and size to run or roam. There is also the large Cabbagetown Park just around the corner (~250 feet away), plus walkable restaurants/coffee on Carroll Street, the Beltline, and Memorial Ave, all within half a mile in any direction!

Our yard is fully fenced with two large magnolia trees for shade. 🐕Sniffspots are a new thing so just a reminder that you are expected to stay with your dog and this is not a place to drop them off. The Marietta Puppy Palace is conveniently located 1 mile north of the Big Chicken. And for those just passing through, we are right off of I-75 at exit 265. Great shady open space. Lots of fun critters to see and observe (birds, squirrels, etc). Table and chairs to bring food or work to. Hammock to enjoy while dog runs around. Access to hose for water playing/drinking. You can hear our neighbor dogs however both the neighbors and myself have a fence, so you don’t have to worry about interactions.
