55Really nice! A fully grassy yard with sun and shade if you wanted it. The dogs had a blast running and rolling around. It was a bit muddy, but with snow still on the ground that’s pretty expected. There were active dogs playing and occasionally barking in some of the visible surrounding yards that made it a little rough in the beginning with our one reactive pup, but hey, everything’s a training opportunity! In the future we may avoid holidays/weekends here when others are likely to be out with their dogs, but we’ll definitely return! Finding the location and parking was easy.Mindy & Ryan C.

55This is an amazing spot. We live in the city and have a reactive rescue pup, so it was great to be able to give her some good off leash time. The yard is super spacious and Winnie also loved watching all the squirrels and hearing lots of new sounds. We will definitely be back! Rachel G.

55The spot has a great high fence that is secure enough that Delilah, a reactive rescue escape artist, wasn’t able to! We had a blast letting her run free for the hour. Lots of new sounds and smells that kept her plenty busy. We will certainly be back, thank you! Eric S.

55Beautiful backyard, and easy to find. I’m pretty sure my girl was mad at me when i told her our hour was up! Very grateful that Jerry has chosen to share his beautiful yard. Bella and I will definitely be back :)Diana B.

55This was a new spot for us today. It was quite cold but my dogs enjoyed a chance to run and play for 1hr. This spot is very close our home, easy to find, and to access. My dogs loved it!! We brought a ball but a large stick they found in the yard seemed to be more fun for a game of chase. Despite there being no chairs, I was able to sit on a stone ledge in the yard so I did not have to stand the entire time. The yard was clean and doody bags were available. There were a lot of nettles in the yard, my dogs did not seem to mind but I had to tread carefully so as not to slip.
I certainly wish the weather was warmer but it still was a great place to let my dogs loose. I would definitely recommend this spot!!Rita C.

55Great fun!! A little warmer than our 1st visit. My dogs sniffed, played chase and rolled in the grass. The yard is large and they really enjoyed running around and playing. We will definitely be back!Rita C.

55It was larger than I thought. Brie needed an enclosed space to do some training and it was perfect. There was plenty of sniffing and chasing the leaves today before training. We’ll be back soon! Stacey K.

55Got our sweet rescue pup back in may and she’s pretty weary of strangers. Domino’s Digs was her first time running and playing outside unleashed and we loved it! Great spot, plenty of area to run free and play fetch! And we love that it’s fully fenced. Thanks Domino & family!Psalms L.

55Lovely time allowing my 2 big babies to run around and play. They both thoroughly enjoy themselves chasing the dog with the stick and investigating. The Play spot was nice and clean as always!Rita C.

55Loved it! I scheduled on a day I didn’t realize it was supposed to rain and they immediately blocked off a future time for me to go so I didn’t lose out! That was so appreciated because the dogs had a ton of fun. Lots of room, clean, and I loved the tree stumps for seating! Only thing I would say is anyone with really small dogs just be careful, there are a few spots in the fence that a dog could potentially get out (I think it’s just from other dogs digging). But they’d need to be chihuahua sized to get out. Allie L.

FAQ about our Nottingham dog parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 97% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Nottingham area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 317 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 50 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
