Our private, fully fenced half acre yard is the perfect place to let your (reactive or otherwise) dog just be a dog and get some freedom! Please check in at the front desk to get the key to the yard, and clean up after yourself. There are water bowls in the yard, but please bring your own water. There are trees providing shady areas throughout the day. If bringing back the key when we are not open, please put it in the Mailbox, located beside our Front Doors. When we are open, our receptionists will gladly take the key back from you! All the fees go directly to the animals in our case, and we are a registered charity and no-kill shelter. Our farm is located on 100 acres of beautifully scenic property and we have opened 26 acres of that space for you to explore. Our property is on predominantly flat elevation with trails, multiple fields and roughly 7 acres of forest. While the forest can be dense in spots, it is very walkable and presents a lovely spot to hike through. We have 5 ponds as well as a stream that runs the width of our property and travels through the forest. We have a myriad of wildlife that you may see or encounter during your adventures here. These could include (but are not limited to) great blue herons, muskrats, rabbits, geese, ducks, deer and coyotes. We do have livestock and a guardian dog on the property (they are fully fenced) as well as family pets so please respect their space and ensure your dogs are leashed anytime you are nearing the barn, paddock or barnyard areas.

We have a large fully fenced yard for dogs to run and burn off energy and have lots of dog toys available for them to play with. In the summer months, we have a large doggy pool readily available for your furry friend to enjoy and cool off in. We will have dog bowls with water always available for your four legged companion to drink if they get thirsty. Doggy poop bags are provided if needed to clean up after your pooch and a garbage can to drop it into before you leave. Please help to keep our yard clean for the next visitor. Our yard is also child friendly and wheelchair accessible, so feel free to bring your whole family. We have a concrete patio with lots of seating and a fire table to enjoy in the colder months. We can make your visit as private as you wish or if your dog would like to have a playmate, we can have our dogs join you in the yard. Just let us know ahead of time. Also on site is a hot tub. For an extra fee of $10, we can make it available to use while your doggy's play. Let us know ahead of your visit if you also would like to book the hot tub. Maximum time in the hot tub is 20 minutes. This allows us to time to chlorinate the hot tub afterwards to keep it clean and ready for use next time. It's a great way to relax and unwind. Please note: We do not have a change room on site to use, so you will need to bring swimwear underneath your clothing and a towel to use to dry off with.
